- As indicated in Srimad-Bhagavatam by Sukadeva Gosvami, we should not try to comprehend the greater mountainous areas of the universe merely by our calculations
- As it is said in the Bhagavad-gita, foolish persons, after exhausting the results of their pious activities in the heavenly kingdom, come back again to this lower planetary system and then again try to go to the higher planetary system

- As long as we continue trying to satisfy our own senses, we have to accept another body
- As mentioned before, Krsna says, - One who tries to approach Me to become Krsna conscious but at the same time wants to become materially happy is not very intelligent. He is wasting his time

- As soon as we hear about Krsna attentively and try to assimilate it, then the purification of the heart begins
- As soon as we speak of knowledge, there must be three things: the object of knowledge, the person who is trying to know and the process by which the object of knowledge is achieved
- As soon as you get another material body, it is suffering. So try to realize these things. Therefore, punar-janma-jayaya. The whole aim should be how to conquer over again material . . . this is intelligence

- At last, when frustrated, he (the living entity) gives up his material activities and tries to become one with the Lord and speculate with much jugglery of words, but without success
- At present we are all engaged in studying temporary, small things. Brahman means the greatest, but instead of concerning ourselves with the greatest, we have become enmeshed in trying to solve the animal problems of eating, sleeping, defending and mating
- At present we are trying to attain eternity, bliss, and knowledge by means of an imperfect instrument
- At present we are trying to enjoy our pleasure potency by means of the body in the material condition - CC Intro

- Atheists try to interpret different meanings of the words dharma-ksetra and kuru-ksetra. Therefore Srila Jiva Gosvami has warned us not to depend on any kind of interpretation. It is better to take the verses as they are, without interpretation
- Atma means this body, this mind and the soul. Real meaning of atma is soul. So there is a verse, atmanam sarvato rakset: First of all try to save your soul

- Atmanam sarvato rakset tato dharmam tato dhanam. First of all you try to protect yourself, then take to real religion, natural function of the atma
B

- Because the living entity is infinitesimal, the allurement of material enjoyment attracts him, and he tries to enjoy matter, forgetting his constitutional position
- Because the mode of goodness means knowledge. So if you know, "This table does not belong to me; it belongs to Swamiji," you will not try to take it away. Therefore, one must know - be thoroughly well conversant - then he can be honest
- Because the people of your country expect something, we must give them place, but preaching is our real business. Your programme for the university students is very very nice, try to do it seriously and with scholarly approach

- Caitanya replied to Bhattacarya, You do not elucidate the direct meaning but imagine something and consequently obscure the true meaning. I think that you have a particular doctrine which you are trying to expound through the codes of Vedanta-sutra
