- Anything not conceived in relationship to Krsna should be understood to be illusion or maya
- Anything not given by the Supreme Personality of Godhead is not accepted by the Bhagavat school as religion. In the beginning of SB it is said, Dharmah projita kaitavo. This kaitavo religion means cheating religion
- Anything not supported by the Vedic principles must be considered imaginary and lacking in standard proof. Therefore no impersonalist explanation of any Vedic literature can be accepted
- Anything opposed to this religious system of progressive Krsna consciousness is called vidharma, para-dharma, upadharma or chala-dharma. Misinterpretation of Bhagavad-gita is chala-dharma
- Anything outside of Krishna Consciousness is insanity, and I am glad that you are realizing it more and more
- Anything performed without the direction of the Vedas is called vikarma, or unauthorized or sinful work. Therefore, one should always take direction from the Vedas to be saved from the reaction of work
- Anything pertaining to Him (God) is in the same category of spiritual existence. They (The sword, bow, club, disc and everything decorating the personal body of the Lord) are all engaged in the service of the Lord in varieties of spiritual forms
- Anything spiritual, spiritual identity, spiritual God, spiritual kingdom, you have to learn simply by hearing from authorities. There is no other process. There is no other, second process. Simply you have to hear
- Anything spoken by the Personality of Godhead should be taken as it is, with great care and attention and with great respect
- Anything sung in the praise of the Lord is Sruti-mantra
- Anything that appears as apparently not being "produced out of My energy" is called maya
- Anything that changes under the influence of time and circumstances is not sanatana. Therefore anything that changes whatsoever in form or quality cannot be accepted as sanatana
- Anything that does not lead to the perfectional stage of Krsna consciousness should be avoided. BG 1972 purports
- Anything that is beautiful and opulent in the material sense is enjoyed by those living entities who are like crows
- Anything that is done which does not lead to Krsna consciousness is a sinful activity, and any education that does not lead one to understand Krsna is false education. If Krsna consciousness is missing, one is simply engaged in false activities
- Anything that is enchanting in the world is said to be a representation of the Lord (Krsna)
- Anything that is material or mundane - be it acquisition of knowledge or of wealth - is vanquished along with the annihilation of the material body
- Anything that is presented before Lord Krsna should be so done after due presentation of respectful prayers. That is the standard procedure & Arjuna, although an intimate friend of the Lord, is observing this method for general information
- Anything that is produced must also be annihilated. Therefore if we accept the birth of the living entity, we also have to accept his annihilation
- Anything transcendental to material nature is called inconceivable, whereas arguments are all mundane. Since mundane arguments cannot touch transcendental subject matters, one should not try to understand transcendental subjects through mundane arguments
- Anything valuable takes a little time to come into existence. Therefore there is no harm in waiting for the best thing. But everything is well that ends well: That should be the principle
- Anything which can be engaged in the service of the Lord should not be given up. This is our philosophy. Should not be given up. We do not say, "Oh, money is material. I do not touch. My hand becomes turned up.'' No
- Anything which changes is called temporary, or asat. We should know that beyond these temporary senses are our permanent senses, which are now covered by the material body
- Anything which does not help me in serving Krsna, if we give it up, and anything which helps me to serve Krsna, if we accept, in that way if we live, then gradually we become situated in our original constitutional position, eternal servant of God
- Anything which does not lead to the devotional service of the Lord is irreligion, and anything which leads to the devotional service of the Lord is called religion
- Anything which does not speak in terms of the Vedic formula, we do not accept such knowledge as valid
- Anything which goes against this principle (of surrendering to Krsna) is not religion. Krsna therefore says: "Just give up all other religious principles."
- Anything which has a beginning, interim and end is called material
- Anything which has not given satisfaction to Krsna or God, that is bad. Now you have to judge yourself how Krsna is satisfied. That requires training; that requires understanding
- Anything which I own, that should be utilized for my purpose. Your things should be utilized for your purpose. So if God is the proprietor of our senses, then these senses must be used for God's purpose. That is the constitutional position
- Anything which is accepted by leading men, that is accepted by others. - So you are one of the leading men in the society, lawyer. If you understand our philosophy, then many others will follow
- Anything which is beyond the scope of experience by our imperfect senses can be realized fully by the sound representation. A person transmitting sound from a far distant place can be factually experienced
- Anything which is done for the satisfaction of his own senses, that is kama, kama, lust, desire
- Anything which is favorable for krsna-seva, if we give up that business as visaya, that is mistake
- Anything which will remind one of Krishna is spiritual, and anything which will make one forget Krishna is material
- Anything which you do not love, you cannot repeat. It will be disgusting. Anything, any word you take, if you simply repeat, you'll feel disgusted
- Anything without Krsna consciousness, without God consciousness, they are all cheating religion. They are not religion
- Anything you do for satisfaction of Krsna, that is good work. This is the division of bad work and good work. The same thing, if you do for your personal satisfaction, it is bad work
- Anything you do, there is some fault. Even fire, there is smoke. Better in a particular type of occupation in which you are expert, do that, but with the result you serve Krsna
- Anything you practice, you'll be successful. So if by practicing Krsna consciousness, you can go back to home, back to Godhead, why should you neglect it? That will solve your all problems
- Anything you put into alcohol, that becomes more impure
- Anything you take material, material thing has no value, it is inferior, but by the touch of the superior energy, the living entity, it becomes important
- Anything you want to do you must take sanction from the Lord. You cannot do anything whimsically and you think that "I am rendering service to the Lord."
- Anything, either material or spiritual, is but an expansion of the energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and as stated in the Bhagavad-gita, the omnipotent Lord has His transcendental eyes, heads and other bodily parts distributed everywhere
- Anything, it has got six changes. Anything material, it has got birth, it has got growth, it has got after-effect, then dwindles, and then finished - everything, anything you take, the material. This is called sad-vikara, six kinds of changes
- Anything, it requires four pillars. So to remain steadily on the platform of dharma, these four legs required: dharma, artha, kama, moksa
- Anything, whatever you see or experience or try to understand, there must be some definition. So when you speak of God, do you know what is the definition of God?
- Arjuna did not know anything but Krsna, and Arjuna requested that Krsna be present on his side in the battle
- Arjuna submitted the three different questions (BG 14.21), & the Lord answers them one after another. In these verses (22-25), Krsna first indicates that a person transcendentally situated neither envies anyone nor hankers for anything. BG 1972 purports
- Arjuna went to the camp of Duryodhana, and he was well received. - Well, Arjuna, come on. What do you want? Come on. Sit down. Do you want anything from me? If you want, I can stop this fight
- As a fire can consume anything and everything without being contaminated, so, by the grace of the Lord, the fire of Brahma's greatness consumed his desire for the sinful act of sex with his daughter
- As a Krsna consciousness person, he can act like anything by the order of Krsna. He can act as a brahmana, he can act as a sudra, because his main business is to carry out Krsna's order
- As a pure devotee does not know anything beyond the Lord, so the Lord does not know anything beyond His pure devotee
- As a woman cannot produce children unless impregnated by a man, material nature cannot produce or manifest anything unless it is impregnated by the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the form of the time factor
- As Caitanya Mahaprabhu did (organized Sankirtana Movement), we can follow. We are not doing anything harm to the people; we are actually giving the highest benediction to the human life
- As confirmed in the Visnu Purana, whatever manifestations we experience are nothing but various energies of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. These energies cannot create anything independently
- As far as music is concerned, we have got our standard of music, the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. We do not require to introduce anything new
- As far as possible, a devotee is very cautious so that he does not do anything that could disrupt his wholesome condition. He knows that perfection in his activities depends on his progressive realization of Krsna consciousness. BG 1972 purports
- As far as the gopis of Vrndavana were concerned, from the very beginning of their lives they did not know anything beyond Krsna. Krsna and Balarama were their life and soul
- As far as the material body is concerned, we cannot do anything for anyone. However, by the grace of Krsna, we may raise a person to spiritual consciousness if we ourselves follow the rules and regulations
- As far as work is concerned, a Krsna conscious person does not do anything which is not connected with Krsna's interest, and thus his work is always regulated and is untainted by sense gratification. BG 1972 purports
- As for hiring the bhajan group Bharati Mandal, they are not as good as our bhajans. They eat anything and everything but no bhakti
- As for those who are not grhasthas - the brahmacaris, vanaprasthas and sannyasis - they don't have to do anything but strive for advancement in spiritual life
- As God hasn't got to do anything, we, being Krsna's part and parcel, we have got that tendency that we don't want to do anything, but we want to enjoy. But we have fallen under certain conditions, and we have to work. This is our position
- As indicated by the words prag distam, the Lord knew everything. Before anything happened, He had already arranged for His cakra to protect Maharaja Ambarisa. This protection is offered to a devotee even from the very beginning of his devotional service
- As living entities, we want enjoyment. Enjoyment means variety. It is not possible to enjoy anything without variety
- As long as there is the slightest tinge of sense gratification or desire for sense gratification, peace will remain far, far away. This is because by nature we're all eternal servants of the SG & therefore cannot enjoy anything for our personal interests
- As rivers are filled by water flowing from a mountain, all of Daksa's senses were filled with pleasure. Because of his highly elevated happiness, Daksa could not say anything, but simply remained flat on the ground
- As soon as a devotee sees anything material, he sees immediately the energy of Krsna, and along with the energy of Krsna, he sees immediately Krsna. Reactory. He actually. With reference to the context
- As soon as he (Kamsa) heard that "Oh, there is danger from my sister," he did not care anything, no relationship, no ceremony, no auspicity, nothing. This is demon. Demon means for his self-interest, he can do anything nonsense
- As soon as one is fixed up with KC & begins to love Krsna, then he doesn't want to love anything more. "Now I am fully satisfied." So otherwise, we'll have many questions, many answers, so long we are not self-realized, and our time will be spoiled
- As soon as the body is finished, all material achievements are also finished. No one takes with him anything he has achieved materially in this world
- As soon as the ground is moist, you can produce anything, whatever you want. Sarva-kama-dugha mahi. From the field, you can get all your necessities of life. The first necessity is the food grain
- As soon as we find anything extraordinary, we should understand that such an extraordinary manifestation is the special grace of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- As soon as you become expert in hearing and chanting, then the next stage is smaranam. Smaranam, thinking of. Anything you speak or hear, later on you contemplate, you meditate, smaranam. So smaranam is the third stage
- As Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura explains, the word nirapeksa means not being affected by anything material and remaining fixed in the service of the Lord
- As stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 2.41): vyavasayatmika buddhir ekeha kuru-nandana. Those who are fixed in the service of the Lord are not agitated by anything
- As such, Lord Krsna can offer His devotees anything they want
- As the Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.54): He (One who is transcendentally situated) never laments nor desires to have anything; he is equally disposed to every living entity. In that state he attains pure devotional service unto Me
- As the result of real yoga practice there are eight kinds of perfection: 2) he can achieve anything he likes, he can create even a planet, he can establish influence over anyone, etc

- As we have learned from the previous verses, he (Jada Bharata) was very strong and could have very easily avoided being bound with ropes, but he did not do anything. He simply depended on the Supreme Personality of Godhead for his protection
- Asura means demon. They are just opposite . . . they are very much against anything, they want simply . . . cheaply to become God. That is their demonic principle
- At least in India there must be an institution that is strictly following the principles of Bhagavad-gita. This is my institution. We don't want anything more, other help. We simply request them that "Give some of our men permanent residentship"
- At night the sun does not see you so you cannot see the sun. You cannot see the sun, you cannot see anything because the sun does not see you. Similarly the Upanisad says when Krsna sees you or Krsna sees, then you can see
- At that time (during death) our stout and strong body and our intelligence - which don't care for anything - are vanquished
- At the present moment, we are in a diseased condition. Materialists do not know what is disease and what is health. They do not know anything, but still they are posing as great scientists and philosophers
- At the present moment, we are not in a position to make charities but for the devotees we can sacrifice anything. So you can stop preparing prasadam for persons who are not willing to work neither to pay
- At this (dhrti) stage one is not perturbed by any amount of loss, nor does anything appear to be unachieved by him
- Avyayam means whatever little service you render, that is permanent settlement. If you come here and dance and chant or ring the bell or anything about the aratrika, if you see, drsta - anything you do, that is your permanent credit
B

- Because I am not full, because I am deficient in so many ways, I am always needy, and therefore I want to create some friend, and similarly I hate an enemy. But since Krsna is the Supreme, no one can harm Krsna, nor can anyone give Krsna anything
- Because in the material world every activity is sinful, because the main principle is how to become master. Therefore to become master everyone is prepared to do anything, never mind whether sinful or pious
- Because it has been offered to Me with devotion and love - that is required. Therefore we do not allow anyone to cook who is not a devotee. Krsna does not accept anything from the hands of a nondevotee. Why should He accept? He is not hungry
- Because Krsna is declaring Himself supreme proprietor, He is therefore different from anything
- Because of your honest desire, all living entities within the universe will be delivered, for Krsna does not have to do anything to deliver all the living entities of the universe
- Because people are not educated, they're accepting these rascals as Vedantists. Really, the Mayavadi Vedantists - they are bluffers. They are not Vedantists. They do not know anything of the Vedanta-sutra. That is the difficulty
- Because She was in front of many of Her superiors, She simply smiled and did not say anything. In this instance, the ecstasy of conjugal love is taken as the whole, and the ecstasy of laughter is taken as the part
- Because the inquiries (from Vidura to Maitreya) concerned the Lord, they were perfectly befitting a devotee. A devotee has no taste for hearing anything mundane. There are many topics of mundane warfare, but a devotee is not inclined to hear them
- Because they (the modern impersonalists) do not know anything beyond their misconception of the brahmajyoti, they cannot understand that Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is spiritual and therefore beyond the conception of material illusion
- Because we are bewildered, we are misdirected, so . . . so guru's word, that should be taken seriously. Ara na koriya . . . "No more, anything." That is . . . Therefore how much difficult it is to find out such guru
- Because we are in ignorance, we do not know anything about the kingdom of God. We know nothing about how to get there or how to become happy. We have forgotten all this
- Because we have been put into some awkward position of this material existence, therefore we are . . . although constitutionally we are joyful, we do not find anything joyful
- Becoming ghost, you cannot enjoy anything grossly. The subtle body will create disturbance

- Bhagavad-gita states that only under superior orders does anything take place. Matter itself has no power to produce independently

C
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu did not say anything and did not indicate whether it was right or wrong. He simply sat there and listened to the Bhattacarya
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu, taking consideration of the fallen condition of this age, He has recommended this medicine (Hare Krsna), "It is this for you." Not that it is newly invented. We don't invent anything. This is called parampara system

- Devotional service rendered to the Personality of Godhead never goes in vain. Since the Personality of Godhead is eternal, intelligence applied in His service or anything done in His relation is also permanent
- Devotional service to God is very much obliging to Him. There are many transcendentalists in different fields of spiritual activities, but devotional service to the Lord is unique. Devotees do not ask anything from the Lord in exchange for their service

- Dhruva Maharaja worshiped Krsna with a motive. But after being perfect in devotional service he becomes without motive. When he saw actually Krsna, he said: "No, no, no. I don't want anything from You. I don't want any benediction." That is bhakti
- Dhruva replied that he did not want anything, for he was perfectly satisfied with the benediction of seeing the Lord. Except for the service of the Supreme Lord, whatever we want is called illusion, maya

- Even if a devotee has no engagement, he will find some work to do for Krsna's satisfaction. Nor does such a person like anything which is not connected with Krsna

- Even though we may not have the fortune to contact the Supreme Lord personally, the Lord's representative is as good as the Lord Himself because such a representative does not say anything unless it is spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Even you produce from your land, that is also God's mercy, because for agriculture, for example, if there is no rain, you cannot produce anything. Now, rain, you have no control over rain

- Everything and anything of the manifested world rests on Him (God), as confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4), but that does not imply that everything and anything in the vision of a materialist is the Supreme Personality
- Everything can be used properly for peaceful condition, and when you become peaceful, no disturbance, then you can very happily chant Hare Krsna and your life becomes successful. This is our program. We don't want to stop anything
- Everything is now disturbed. We cannot be completely blissful. Anything you take, any pleasurable thing you take, it cannot give you always pleasure. It is not possible. This is not possible in this material world
- Except this purpose (to realize God), fulfilling, anything we are doing, that is animalism. As the dog is jumping, we are also jumping like that. It is dog's dancing, that's all. What is the difference?
- Expertness is you just try to do which is easily performed by you. You don't accept anything heavy task because Krsna does not want that you have to do this heavy task. Whatever you know, you just apply it. You dovetail it in Krsna consciousness

- From material point of view, a perfect yogi can counteract anything, and whatever he likes, he can do. That is called siddhi, asta-siddhi. But still, he is not as siddha as Krsna. Krsna's name is Yogesvara. He is the master of all the yogis

- Fruit, flowers and water can be secured practically in any part of the world by any man, poor or rich, and can be offered. We should remember then that it is not vegetarianism which is important, nor is it that God is in need of anything
G

- God cannot be under the influence of anything so that He may fall down. That is not God
- God does not give you sanction for doing anything criminal. But if we persist to do something criminal, then God gives sanction, "All right, do. Do it at your risk." That is going on

- It is the duty of the son to depend upon his father without asking anything from him. The good son has faith that the father knows best how to benefit him. Similarly, a pure devotee does not ask anything from the Lord for material benefit
- It is the etiquette, before speaking anything, the disciple should first of all offer respect to the spiritual master
- "It is the nature of highly elevated devotees to see Krsna in everything," Lord Caitanya replied. "Whenever they see anything, they do not see the form of that particular thing. They see Krsna." This is confirmed in Srimad-Bhagavatam - SB 11.2.45
- It is the negative injunction of this verse that we should refrain from giving anything to or accepting anything from the Mayavadis and atheists
- It is this active medicine, this Hare Krsna maha-mantra, that is doing it. It is the perfect yoga system. This process is not manufactured, and we have not concocted anything. Our business is simply to accept the words of Krsna as they are
- It is very good that you two brothers (Rupa and Sanatana) have come to see Me. Now you can go home. Do not fear anything
- It may be due to my poor fund of knowledge I cannot understand it - that we should admit. The lines, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita, they are as perfect as anything
J
- Jada Bharata had completely realized his spiritual identity (aham brahmasmi). He was therefore unaffected by this sarcastic criticism from the King. Without saying anything, he continued carrying the palanquin as before
- Janasya moho 'yam: this is the illusion. And by this illusion he thinks, aham mameti: (SB 5.5.8) - I am this body, and anything in relationship with this body is mine

- Jnanis recommend that one adopt naiskarmya by not doing anything but simply meditating and thinking of Brahman, but this is impossible unless one realizes Parabrahman, Krsna
- Just as an ordinary materialistic businessman thinks of nothing else when he is absorbed in his business, a pure devotee, when engaged in the service of the Lord, does not think of anything beyond that engagement
- Just as the Ganges is sacred because its water emanates from the toes of Narayana, so whenever water or anything is in touch with devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, it is purified and spiritualized
- Just like here the nature is working in that way. You build a very nice house. Gradually, the nature's course is it will become old and you'll fall down. This is the way of nature here. You cannot keep anything fresh always
- Just like Sukadeva Gosvami. He didn't care for anything, who is naked dancing or naked bathing. No. He has no care. He is going on in the street. He is satisfied in himself and with Krsna. Tasya karyam na vidyate: "He has nothing to do." Bas. He is free
- Just like there are so many sex literatures, very attractive, it is selling like anything. But we are not interested in those rascal literatures. Tad vayasam tirtham, such literature is considered as the place of enjoyment of the crows
- Just see how these trees are maintaining every living entity! Their birth is successful. Their behavior is just like that of great personalities, for anyone who asks anything from a tree never goes away disappointed
- Just see. This is the position. How low taste: hogs' and pigs' business, and write philosophy. His (Freud's) books are selling like anything
- Just try to help them by giving them KC & the best way to do this is to set the example by being very enthusiastic to do anything and everything to please Krishna, even we may have to make sacrifice
K
- Kaman, our necessities of life, from material point of view, it is fulfilled by rainfall from the sky. If there is no rainfall, you cannot produce anything

- Khatvanga Maharaja could not think of anything existing without the purpose of the Supreme Lord. Isavasyam idam sarvam: (ISO 1) everything is related to the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Killing business can be done without the presence of Krsna. Because there are so many natural forces - war, pestilence, famine, anything - just set on working
- King Daksa wanted to offer prayers to Lord Siva, but as he remembered the ill-fated death of his daughter Sati, his eyes filled with tears, and in bereavement his voice choked up, and he could not say anything

- King Prthu said, "My dear Lord, You (Krsna) are self-sufficient. You can do anything You like without the help of anyone else"
- King Prthu's activities took place in Satya-yuga, and in this age this practice of yoga is misunderstood by fallen souls who are not capable of practicing anything. Consequently the sastras enjoin: kalau nasty eva nasty eva nasty eva gatir anyatha
- Krishna Cons. is not a miracle, it is science, & because we are Krishna conscious, therefore we know everything, so practically we can understand how Krishna wanted to please His devotees & He appeared there so wonderfully. We do not see anything miracle
- Krishna will help, we do not rely on anything non-Krishna, but He will give facility when He sees we want it very, very seriously, working very hard and with great determination to get it, just to be able to serve Him better
- Krsna accepts anything from a devotee. "Whatever is offered to Me by My devotee," He accepts. The same thing for a devotee. Don't you see the point
- Krsna advised him to fight, but because Arjuna was a Vaisnava, in the beginning he was unwilling. A Vaisnava does not like to kill anything, but if Krsna orders him, he must fight
- Krsna and Kapiladeva are not teaching anything new. They are simply repeating the same message because, in the course of time, the knowledge has been lost
- Krsna can accept anything if it is offered by a devotee, and a devotee can accept any prasada, even if it is spicy. Hiranyakasipu gave his son poison (and the son offered it to Krsna), and the son drank it as nectar
- Krsna can offer anyone anything, from liberation to anything materially conceivable. Therefore, there cannot be any doubt of the salvation of Putana, whose bodily milk was sucked by Krsna for such a long time
- Krsna can provide anything and everything within a moment, but He waits to test a devotee. And when the devotee comes out successful from the test, He gives him all opportunity for devotional service
- Krsna canvasses "Come to Me, and I will relieve you. You will then live happily, eternally and blissfully. You will not have any want, nor will you be troubled by anything." For this reason Krsna comes

- Krsna consciousness means he does not anymore eat anything which is not offered to Krsna
- Krsna consciousness means he's no more interested with anything material
- Krsna consciousness movement means we are not manufacturing anything by our fertile brain. No. We don't create anything. We simply repeat, but we try to explain for modern understanding
- Krsna continued - You (King Nagnajit) may also be pleased to be informed that in Our family tradition there is no scope for Our offering anything in exchange for accepting your daughter (Satya). We cannot pay any price you may impose for delivering her

- Krsna continued, "I was simply seeing how much you were anxious for Me in My absence. So please do not try to find fault with Me. Because you consider Me so dear to you, kindly excuse Me if I have done anything wrong"
- Krsna does not accept anything from a person with a material conception of life
- Krsna does not advise Arjuna simply to remember Him and give up his occupation. No, the Lord never suggests anything impractical
- Krsna does not say, "Give Me meat. Give Me eggs. Give Me fish." No. He says, patram puspam phalam toyam yo me bhaktya prayacchati. So if you are devotee, you cannot take anything which is not offered to Krsna. I should offer to Krsna what He wants
- Krsna emphasizes practice and renunciation as ways to control the mind. But what is that renunciation? Today it is hardly possible for us to renounce anything, for we are so habituated to such a variety of material sense pleasures
- Krsna encouraged Arjuna that "Don't be disappointed, because your mind is always engaged in Me." Arjuna might be anything, but he was always thinking of Krsna. He was always associating with Krsna. He did not know anything else, Krsna
- Krsna gives him the power to see anything he wants to see, past, present and future. Thus by the mercy of Krsna, Arjuna is able to see everything. BG 1972 purports
- Krsna has a transcendental potency called hladini sakti. He does not enjoy anything that is a product of the material energy. Brahma, therefore, would see Lord Krsna expand His energy
- Krsna has form, but a form not like us. That is param bhavam. He is present everywhere. He can accept anything, wherever you offer
- Krsna has got creative power; we have also got creative power. In this way, compare anything. Krsna has got independence, full independence, we have got independence, but not full independence. So that is the difference
- Krsna is always Krsna, but because we cannot see anything beyond material elements like wood, stone, and metal, He appears in a form made of these elements. But He is neither wood, metal, nor stone
- Krsna is both; He can deliver all sinful conditioned souls, and at the same time, He never does anything by which He can be contaminated
- Krsna is enjoying, but He has no attachment for all these things - either for wife or children or this building or anything. At any moment He can give up
- Krsna is full in all opulences; He does not need anything from anyone. But if one is prepared to give something to Krsna, that is for one's own benefit
- Krsna is never allured, neither Krsna is become a victim of anything material. Krsna's position is different. That is stated in the Isopanisad, apapa-viddham
- Krsna is not in need of anything from anyone, because He is self-sufficient, and yet He accepts the offering of His devotee in an exchange of love and affection
- Krsna is Param Brahman. He cannot enjoy anything material. He has to create the source of enjoyment by His own spiritual potency. That is Radharani
- Krsna is the enjoyer, Krsna is the proprietor, and Krsna is the friend. If you know these three things, then your knowledge is full; you do not require to understand anything more
- Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He's also quoting from Vedas. He does not say, "I say." He says, but He says on the Vedic authority. He doesn't say anything superfluous. No
- Krsna knew that he (Vidura) was giving in devotion, and Krsna can eat anything, provided there is devotion. It does not matter whether it is materially tasteful or not
- Krsna may do anything supposedly abominable in material life, yet still He is attractive. Therefore His name is Krsna, meaning "all-attractive." This is the platform on which transcendental loving affairs and service are exchanged
- Krsna never disappoints a sincere devotee, regardless of what he wants, but He never allows anything which will be detrimental to the individual's devotional service
- Krsna replied, "Every one of you (Kings) must understand that anything material has its starting point, growth, maintenance, expansion, deterioration and, finally, disappearance"
- Krsna said to the gopis that "You have to be satisfied with your own business. I cannot return you anything for your love." Krsna, the Supreme, the all-powerful, He was unable to repay the debts for the gopis

- Krsna said to Uddhava, "Even if they are offered the four kinds of spiritual opulences, they will refuse to accept them. So what to speak of their desiring anything within the material world"
- Krsna said, "A person who is tolerant is always prepared to tolerate everything, even though distressful. Just as a criminal can perform the most abominable acts, a greatly charitable person like you can give anything & everything for which he is asked"
- Krsna says, patram puspam phalam toyam yo me. The real thing is whether you are lover & devotee. Then Krsna will accept anything you offer. It is not you have to cook very sumptuously, very rich food, then Krsna you'll offer. Krsna is not after your food
- Krsna thought, "Sudama has not come asking anything from Me; being obliged by the request of his wife, he has come to see Me just to please her."
- Krsna was informed, "Similarly, she has addressed the birds and the drones and inquired from them as to whether Krsna has passed before them, and she has inquired if they can say anything about You"
- Krsna went on speaking, "But because they are not attracted by the names of Krsna and Balarama, you had better not ask them for anything in My name. Better ask for some charity in the name of Balarama"
- Krsna's body is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (Bs. 5.1). It has nothing to do with anything material. He descends as a favor to His devotees, who are always anxious to see Him
- Krsna's devotees are His kinsmen, and His devotees are His relations. This is His transcendental pastime. It has nothing to do with mundane ideas of relations, fatherhood or anything like that
- Krsna's existence is not relative existence. Everything else but Krsna is a relative truth, but Krsna is the Supreme Absolute Truth. Krsna does not depend on anything but Himself for His existence. Our existence, however, is relative
- Krsna, expanding Himself into millions, still, He remains a Krsna, the same Krsna. It is not that material thing. If you take a material thing, anything, if you divide it into millions portion, then original form is finished
- Krsna, who is the Supreme Brahman and Supersoul, is not at all interested in anything material. His activities with the gopis are all spiritual and take place within the spiritual world. They have nothing to do with the material world

L
- Law of gravitation . . . anything we know about gravity did not come from Vedas. Not from Veda, but it comes from Mr. Newton
- Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is always pleased to accept anything given with faith and love by His devotees and is always ready to bestow mercy upon them
- Let us make an experiment - that also we are not agreed. What is the loss? If we sit together and chant Hare Krsna, you are not losing anything. If there is some gain, why not make an experiment
- Like there is no existence of horse egg, similarly, even if you attain that higher planetary system, what do you gain by that? You don't gain anything, because the four principles of material existence will continue there also
- Lord Balarama said, "I shall be glad to award him anything else you may ask. I shall be very glad to grant all these boons to fulfill your desires"

- Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda are the life and soul of those Vaisnavas, who do not know anything but devotional service to Sri Sri Radha-Krsna
- Lord Caitanya compared offenses toward a Vaisnava to a mad elephant. As a mad elephant can do anything horrible, so when a person offends a Vaisnava he can perform any abominable action
- Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu asked her (mother Saci) to cook for Him because He was very hungry, not having taken anything for three days. His mother immediately agreed, and forgetting everything else
- Lord Caitanya's movement still awaits for being preached all over the world. And to broadcast anything all over the world, English language is the only medium of circulation. I shall be very much pleased if you kindly cooperate with this world movement
- Lord Caitanya's pastime is still going on, but some of the fortunate devotees, they can see. Anything, God's pastime, that is perceivable through devotional service. Bhaktya mam abhijanati (BG 18.55). Only. This is the process. No other process
- Lord Krsna and Balarama, the reservoir of all knowledge, exhibited Their perfect understanding of all the arts and sciences mentioned above. Then They offered to serve Their teacher by awarding him anything he desired
- Lord Krsna is the husband of the goddess of fortune; being pleased with His pure devotee, He can offer whatever the devotee desires. But the pure devotee does not ask anything from the Lord for his personal benefit
- Lord Krsna replied, "I know that he (Banasura) is one of the chief devotees of Your Lordship (Siva), so you can now rest assured that henceforward he need have no fear of anything"
- Lord Krsna tells Uddhava, "My dear friend, if someone offers Me the best thing in his possession, or anything which is very pleasing to him, he will be eternally benefitted"
- Lord Narayana is not born of anything material. Matter is generated from matter, but He is not born of matter. Brahma is born after the creation, but since the Lord existed before the creation, the Lord has no material body
- Lord Ramacandra underwent austerities, of course, only to instruct us; actually He never has any reason to lament for anything
- Lord Siva prays to Lord Aniruddha to give him strength so that he will not taste anything but the prasada of the Lord. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura has sung a verse indicating that the tongue is the most formidable enemy among all the senses
- Lord Siva said, "You exist in four dimension, & Your appearance and disappearance do not depend on anything beyond Yourself. You are the supreme cause of everything, but of You there is no cause. You Yourself cause Your own appearance and disappearance"
- Love means taking and giving also. If we just take from someone and give him nothing in return, that is not love - it is exploitation. It is not that we should just continue eating without ever offering anything to Krsna
- Love means there is some exchange. If you love somebody but you have not given anything to that person or taken anything from him, where is the love
- Loving Krsna as one's son is a Vedic principle. Vasudeva and Devaki never desired anything but to have the Lord as their son, yet for this purpose they apparently wanted to live like ordinary grhasthas for sexual indulgence
M
- Maharaj Dhruva says, "I had been searching out some pieces of broken glass, but instead I have found the most valuable jewel. I am therefore fully satisfied, my Lord. I do not wish to ask anything more from Your Lordship"
- Maharaja Ambarisa did not speak of anything but the pastimes of the Lord. Vacamsi vaikuntha-gunanuvarnane (SB 9.4.18). He engaged his words only in glorification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Maharaja Bharata lamented that although the sun was going to set, due to the poor animal's absence, he could not find anything auspicious
- Maharaja Pariksit was not at all afraid of death, for he was fully encouraged by the message of the Lord. One who is fully absorbed in acyuta-katha can never be afraid of anything in this world
- Maharaja Yudhisthira inquired from his brother (Arjuna) whether anything undesirable happened on the way home from Dvaraka
- Maharaja Yudhisthira was advised by Narada not to disturb his uncle (Dhrtarastra) by attempting to bring him back home. He was now beyond the attraction of anything material
- Manage nicely. Krsna is giving us everything; there is no scarcity. If we simply sincerely work, Krsna will give us intelligence, everything. By His mercy everything is available. That is Krsna - He can give you anything
- Material hankerings, anything material, hankering, should be void
- Material science can discover the nuclear bomb to accelerate the process of death, but it cannot discover anything that can protect man from the cruel hands of old age, disease and death
- Materialistic persons do not know what the real problem of life is. This is due to a lack of spiritual education. Especially in the present age, every man is in darkness, in the bodily conception of life, not knowing anything of the spirit soul
- Materialistic persons, who are too much engaged in material enjoyment and who do not know anything beyond their material experiences, are carried by the whims of material nature
- Materialists who perform yajnas, or great sacrifices, are comparatively better than grosser materialists who do not know anything beyond laboratories and test tubes
- Meditation does not mean anything impersonal or void. According to Vedic literature, meditation is always on the form of Visnu
- Men have now got the mistaken idea to make a permanent settlement in this madhouse! Just like the hog is eating stool and he is thinking, Oh, I am enjoying like anything
- Modern astronomers? They do not know anything. They do not know what is there in the moon planet, they do not know what is there in the sun planet, in the Venus - nothing. Still they are going on, they are proud
- Modern education means to create dogs. The dog goes door to door and moves the tail: "Please give me if you have anything." So this educated person with application goes, and they say, "No vacancy. Get out." Therefore they are dogs
- Mother Parvati spoke to Citraketu exactly like a mother who says to her naughty child, "My dear child, I am punishing you so that you won't do anything like this again
- Mucukunda continued, "You (Krsna) are the S P of Godhead, and You can offer me anything I want, including liberation. But who is such a fool that after pleasing You he would ask from You something which might cause entanglement in this material world"
- Music, dance and decorations enjoyed by the Lord are certainly not anything mundane, because the Lord is addressed in the very beginning as para, or transcendental
- My (Dhruva Maharaja's) case is just like that of the poor man who, when he satisfied a great emperor who wanted to give him anything he might ask, out of ignorance asked only a few broken grains of husked rice
- My dear gentleman, all these men and women with me are known as my friends, and the snake, who always remains awake, protects this city even during my sleeping hours. So much I know. I do not know anything beyond this
- My dear King, after hearing Citraketu's statement, Lord Siva, the most powerful personality, whose knowledge is fathomless, simply smiled and remained silent, and all the members of the assembly followed the lord by not saying anything
- My dear King, O protector of the citizens, henceforward be very careful to execute My orders and not be misled by anything. Anyone who lives in that way, simply carrying out My orders faithfully, will always find good fortune all over the world
- My dear Lord, You can act as You please. No one can say anything to restrict You. Nevertheless, the entire world is impudent. People can say anything. How can You stop them?
- My dear Misra, you do not know anything about your son. You think Him your son, and therefore you rebuke and chastise Him
- My Guru Maharaja explained that you haven't got to learn anything extra for Krsna's service. Whatever you know, you just apply it... Then you become successful
- My Guru Maharaja pulled me out from this material life. I have not lost anything. He was so kind upon me. I have gained. I left three children, I have got now three hundred children. So I am not loser
- My Guru Maharaja used to say that everything is already supplied by Krsna; all the ingredients of different varieties already are there; there is no lack of anything in this world
- My Guru Maharaja used to say that there is no scarcity of anything in this world, save and except Krishna Consciousness. Keep your present attitude, intact; have good faith in your Spiritual Master and Krishna and everything will be all right
- My Guru Maharaja used to say that there is no scarcity of anything within the world, the only scarcity is Krsna consciousness. Therefore this movement, spreading Krsna consciousness, is the highest welfare activity to the human society
- My Lord, You are the only knowable object because there is nothing supreme beyond You. If there is anything supposedly superior to You, it is not the Absolute. You exist as the Supreme by exhibiting the creative energy of matter
- My order means Bhagavad-gita. We don't say anything extra. That is our principle. Caitanya Mahaprabhu says that "You become guru"
N
- Na tat-samas cabhyadhikas ca drsyate: nothing is equal to Him (the Lord), nor is anything greater than Him. Although He manifests Himself in so many ways, personally He has nothing to do, for everything is done by expansions of His unlimited energies
- Nanda continued, "They (demons) were so strong that even the demigods in the heavenly planets were afraid of them, but Krsna killed them as easily as anything"
- Nanda Maharaja, however, did not want to neglect anything. To keep intact a happy society advanced in spiritual knowledge, he took full advantage of Gargamuni's presence to do what was necessary
- Narada Muni is herein (SB 4.29.66) offering the King (Barhisman) blessings of all good fortune so that the King will not desire anything or make plans for sense gratification
- Narada Muni said, "You (Krsna) are not dependent on anything but Yourself; therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto Your lotus feet." After offering his respectful obeisances to Lord Krsna, Narada Muni took permission and left
- Narada spoke as follows: "He (Yudhisthira) is fully satisfied, and he does not need anything more. He is full in everything, but now he wants to worship You (Krsna) to achieve Your causeless mercy, and I beg to request You to fulfill his desires"
- Narottama dasa Thakura says: "My real riches are Nityananda Prabhu and the lotus feet of Sri Radha and Krsna". He further prays, "O Lord, kindly give me this opulence. I do not want anything but Your lotus feet as my property"
- Narottama dasa Thakura sings, hari hari biphale janama gonainu: "My Lord, I have simply wasted my life." Why? I got this human form of body for understanding, worshiping Radha-Krsna. Now, I did not do anything. That means knowingly I have taken poison
- Nature can give you anything. After all, it is the nature that supplies your necessities, not the industry. Industry simply transformed in a different way, and a certain class make profit out of it. Industry does not mean really economic improvement
- Nature has nothing to do. It will automatically follow. Just like you infect some disease, nature's law is that you must suffer from that disease. Nobody has got to do anything
- Neither a sadhu (saintly person or Vaisnava) nor a bona fide spiritual master says anything that is beyond the scope of the sanction of the revealed scriptures
- Neither the Supreme Personality of Godhead nor the small sparklike living entities have anything to do with matter, but when the spiritual spark comes in contact with the material world his fiery quality is extinguished
- Never eat leftover food, never eat prasada offered to the goddess Kali (Durga), and do not eat anything contaminated by flesh or fish
- New York is very special to me because I started there without anything except faith in my spiritual master and Lord Krishna
- New York, which is the most important city in the world, and if I am able to do anything for Krishna and my Spiritual Master, even I am at the fag-end of my life, at least let me try for it there

- No one can be undisturbed unless he is perfectly spiritually realized, at which time one neither hankers nor laments for anything
- No one can claim to be the proprietor of anything in the world. Therefore, in the life of a householder, which is a sort of license for sex enjoyment, one must give in charity for the service of the Lord
- No one has anything to do but render devotional service to the Supreme Lord, Sri Krsna. Therefore any activity other than transcendental loving service to the Lord is more or less a rebellious action against the supreme will
- No one has to pray to God to ask for anything, and he who does so is foolish because he does not know that the all-knowing God is within his heart and is well aware when he is in distress or in need of money
- No one in the world can enjoy anything if members of the Kuru dynasty like Bhisma, Dronacarya and Arjuna do not allow them to
- No one likes to possess anything that is like a will-o'-the-wisp or a flower in the sky, for everyone knows very well that such things do not exist
- No one should claim to be the proprietor of anything; one should accept only things which are set aside for him by the Lord as his quota for his maintenance. BG 1972 Introduction
- No one should do anything, eat anything, sacrifice anything or give anything in charity against the will of the Lord
- No, we don't accept anything beautiful without God. Without God, everything is ugly to us. Everything ugly
- Nobody can be self-made anything. A medical practitioner, he cannot become self-made, that "I have studied all the medical books in my home." No
- Nobody has ever gained anything by becoming a tool in the hands of Maya, but everyone has become eternally happy by serving Krishna
- Nobody should interfere with our work. There is no need to send anything to be checked by Purusottama das in Vrindaban. It is useless
- Not finding any remedy, she said to her son: My dear son, don't wish for anything inauspicious for others. Anyone who inflicts pains upon others suffers himself from that pain
- Not vultures; it is called hog civilization. The hog, they eat anything and they have sex with anyone
- Now we shall create female as God. - What power you have got? God is already God. You cannot create God a female or dog. You can create anything by mental speculation but that is not a fact
- Now you have got the right spiritual master, the process I've given you, so now it is up to you. If you really want to achieve the goal of your life, then become very serious to always pursue it at every moment and not be distracted by anything false
- Nowadays it is fashionable to observe Bhagavata-saptaha and hear Srimad-Bhagavatam from persons who are anything but advanced devotees or self-realized souls
- Nowadays mahatma means one who does not know anything about Krsna, speaks all nonsense. He is mahatma. "Because we stamp somebody, mahatma, therefore he is mahatma
- Nowadays so many subtle machines are manufactured, and they are working very wonderfully. Just like the television machine, it has no connection where or anything, and still exactly the photograph, the sound and everything is coming from outside
- Nowhere in authentic scriptures is it said that one will ultimately reach the same goal by doing anything or worshiping anyone
O
- O best of the intelligent demigods, although it is true that nothing is difficult for one to obtain when I am pleased with him, a pure devotee, whose mind is exclusively fixed upon Me, does not ask Me for anything but the opportunity to engage in DS
- O King, controller of the entire universe, although you are very munificent and are able to give Me as much land as I want, I do not want anything from you that is unnecessary
- O most gentle one, I wonder whether anything inauspicious has now taken place in regard to religious principles, the brahmanas or the people in general, who are subject to the whims of death
- O my Lord, devotees who engage in the transcendental loving service of Your lotus feet have no difficulty in achieving anything within the realm of the four principles of religiosity, economic development, sense gratification and liberation
- O my Lord, I am Your unmotivated servant, and You are my eternal master. There is no need of our being anything other than master and servant. You are naturally my master, and I am naturally Your servant. We have no other relationship
