- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.8): To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I advent Myself millennium after millennium
- The Lord says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: (BG 18.66) - Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me

- Vedic religion is called sanatana-dharma because nobody can trace out when this Vedic religion begun. Therefore it is called sanatana-dharma. Every religion in our present experience, it has got a history
