- Diti prayed: He (Siva) is so great that if he likes he can immediately destroy my pregnancy, but by his mercy he can also fulfill my desire that my pregnancy not be spoiled

- Economic law says that man cannot create anything. He can simply transform. These trees, has man created these trees? Why do they claim man has created everything

- Here (in BG 18.63) Lord Krsna telIs Arjuna that he can do as he chooses. God does not interfere with the little independence of the living entity. BG 1972 purports
- Here is one of my students. He has learned Sanskrit now. He can read, he can write, he can edit. So it is a question of learning. There is no difficulty
- Here the Lord is significantly described as yajnavayava. One should not consider the Lord to have the body of an ordinary boar. He can assume any form, and He possesses all such forms eternally
- Herein (SB 8.24.52) the reason for foolishness is described. Because the conditioned soul in this material world is full of materialistic lusty desires, he cannot understand the SP of Godhead, although the Lord is situated in everyone's heart - BG 18.61
- His stepmother did not like the King's patting her stepson, so she dragged him out, saying that he could not claim to sit on the lap of the King because he was not born out of her womb. The little boy felt insulted by this act of his stepmother
- "How it is possible to make a candala a Vaisnava?" No, that is possible. Prabhavisnave namah. Visnu is so powerful, omnipotent. He can do that. So only by Visnu mantra, by becoming a Vaisnava, one can transcend all this restriction, sociology
- How one can, unless one is spiritually advanced, how he can sacrifice his hard-earned money for Krsna? Everyone thinks, "Oh, I have earned this money working so hard. Why shall I spend it for Krsna? Let me keep it"
- However expert one may be, he can never describe the glories of God adequately. Nonetheless, those engaged in glorifying the activities of the Lord should try to do so as far as possible. Such an attempt will please the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- However sinful maybe, never mind what is the magnitude of the sinful activities, sudhyanti: he can be purified by the pure devotee. So that is real knowledge
- Human being has a special intellect developed than the animals that he can understand what he is, what is God, what is this cosmic manifestation, and what is the aim of life, how we should conduct
- Human life begins when he is religious, dharma. And artha, when he is economically developed, and when he can satisfy the senses very nicely
- Human life is developed consciousness. So he has to learn it, and he can get rid of this material existence by the process which is prescribed in authoritative scriptures like Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam and Vedic literatures
- Human society must follow a process of religion to advance, and on the basis of religion one should try to develop his economic condition so that he can fulfill his needs for sense gratification according to the religious rules and regulations
- Husband and wife should not separate under any condition, for if they have a child whom they raise to be a Vaisnava, he can save both the father and mother from the custody of Yamaraja and punishment in hellish life

- I am born in particular type, particular time or particular country, I cannot render service to Krsna - that's not a fact. Anywhere, any part of the world, any part of the universe, any man, in any condition, he can serve Krsna. There is no impediment
- I am especially encouraged that that professor has become my initiated disciple, and because he is very intelligent and has a good position of influence in the university, he can utilize this opportunity to serve Krishna very perfectly
- If a businessman is in possession of thousands and thousands of dollars, and if he has to offer all this to Krsna, he can do it. This is work for Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- If a disciple gets a bona fide spiritual master, simply by satisfying him, he can attain a similar opportunity to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- If a man is captivated by material enjoyment, and even if the seed of such enjoyment is within the heart of the conditioned soul, he can be overpowered by a flood of transcendental activities performed in love of God
- If a person has dedicated his life and body and everything to the service of the Lord, he can deliver his family more than such vipra, that brahmin who is simply proud of his qualification but has no, actually, DS. This is the statement of Prahlada
- If a person is actually blessed by the mercy of the Lord, he can immediately become a topmost devotee of the Lord
- If a person is fortunate enough to vanquish all misgivings caused by material existence and rise up to the stage of nistha, he can then rise to the stages of ruci (taste) and asakti (attachment for the Lord). Asakti is the beginning of love of Godhead
- If a person is the most sinful, the supermost sinful man, but if he gets this knowledge, this knowledge of Krsna science, then he can cross over this ocean of ignorance very easily
- If a yogi looks upon the marks of the Lord's sole and on the blazing brilliance of His nails, then he can be freed from the darkness of ignorance in material existence
- If any man wants to become rich man, he has to first of all accept unhappiness, to work very hard, day and night. Then he can get some money
- If anyone says that, "I am guru" then he cannot be guru, because he has no knowledge. But he can cheat some people. That is different thing. You can cheat all people for some time and some people for all time, but not all people for all time
- If anyone wants even material happiness, he can worship the Supreme Lord without deviation, and persons who are desirous of liberation can also worship the Supreme Lord and achieve their goal of life
- If by studying the form, name, qualities, pastimes and paraphernalia of the Supreme Godhead one is attracted to the Lord, he can execute devotional service, and the form of the Lord will be impressed in his heart and remain transcendentally situated there
- If by the asirvada he can get some tenants, this is . . . all these men, they simply want asirvada. They don't want Krsna. They want asirvada so that their nefarious activities may continue peacefully
- If he (A purified materialist) becomes still more qualified there (in Dhruvaloka), he can penetrate still higher orbits and pass through the navel of the universe to reach the planet Maharloka, where sages like Bhrgu Muni live
- If he (the Brahman realized person) wants, he can continue to stay in the Brahman position and then gradually rise up to Paramatma realization and then to the realization of the SPG. There are many examples of this in Vedic literature. BG 1972 purports
- If he (the child) becomes expert in KC, he can help not only his children but his society and nation. But if he himself is bound by ignorance, how can he untie others who are similarly bound? Before one can make others free, he must be free himself
- If he thinks himself that, "I am non-entity, helpless," then he can remain (humble). If he thinks, "I can do something. I have got so much intelligence," then he cannot become humble
- If Mr. George Harrison at all constructs a Radha-Krishna temple, it should be unique in this part of the world. He has got the money, and he can do it
- If one accepts a spiritual master, he can learn to distinguish between matter and spirit, and that becomes the steppingstone for further spiritual realization. BG 1972 purports
- If one adopts the principles enunciated in Bhagavad-gita, he can make life perfect & make a perfect solution to the problems of life which arise out of the transient nature of material existence. This is the sum & substance of BG. BG 1972 Introduction
- If one agrees to put himself under the guidance of a devotee of God, he can also understand the science of God and can become like the transcendental pure devotee of the Lord and thus get his liberation back to Godhead, back home for eternal happiness
- If one becomes a Vaisnava under the principles of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, he can be lifted at once from any abominable condition, svapacam varistham
- If one becomes Krsna conscious, then he can give up this heart disease; otherwise this disease of lusty desires will continue, and one cannot have peace in his mind
- If one becomes perfect in the practice of yoga, he can live as long as he likes
- If one becomes very humble and meek, he can easily attain the lotus feet of Krsna in this Age of Kali. That is the fulfillment of all great sacrifices, penances and austerities
- If one can beget good Krsna conscious children, he can have sex thousands of times, but if he can only beget children who are raised in the consciousness of cats and dogs, his sex life is to be considered irreligious
- If one can fix his mind on Krsna without deviation, he can attain a steadfast position in Krsna consciousness, santa-rasa. When one attains santa-rasa, unflinching faith in Krsna is established, and all material desires cease
- If one changes his consciousness, however, and associates with the supreme, original person (purusam sasvatam), or with His associates, he can get out of the entanglement of material nature
- If one claims that he can become God by worshiping such and such a deity or by meditating, we should immediately take it that he is not a god, but a dog
- If one does not endeavor to counteract his situation but is satisfied with his position, knowing that he has obtained his position through past activities, he can instead engage his energy to develop Krsna consciousness
- If one does not think or act wisely, as Vedic knowledge prescribes, how can he stop the problems of life? Simply by atonement there may be a temporary suppression of difficulties, but they will arise again
- If one engages in devotional activities - he can achieve the highest goal of life with freedom from miserable conditions. Considering this, one should cease from material desires
- If one gets the opportunity to possess a human form of body, in this body he can fulfill the four principles of dharma, artha, kama and moksa
- If one has a process, he should practice it (Krsna consciousness), or he can come and learn this process. One should not begrudge the selection of one process over another
- If one has sufficient money, he can help in building an office or temple for propagating Krsna consciousness. Or he can help with publications. BG 1972 purports
- If one is a perfect brahmacari, he can very easily control the mind and senses, give charity, speak truthfully and so forth. To begin, however, one must control the tongue and the process of eating
- If one is able to do nothing more, he can simply bow down before the Lord and His representative and drink the caranamrta, the water which has washed the lotus feet of the Lord (Krsna) or His devotee
- If one is determined not to be envious of anyone, he can naturally conquer anger. Similarly, one can give up the desire to accumulate wealth simply by considering how difficult it is to protect the money in one's possession
- If one is determined not to have sex, he can automatically conquer lusty desires. The example given is that even if one is hungry, if on a particular day he is determined to observe fasting, he can naturally conquer the disturbances of hunger and thirst
- If one is engaged simply in the acts of devotional service, everything is revealed to him automatically, and he can understand. This is called prakasah, directly perceived. BG 1972 purports
- If one is favored by the Supreme Personality of Godhead by having his gross body touched by the Lord, his body turns into a spiritual body, and he can go back home, back to Godhead
- If one is fortunate enough to have a good, conscientious wife, he can decide by mutual consultation that human life is meant for advancing in Krsna consciousness and not for begetting a large number of children
- If one is in full Krsna consciousness, he can make his home very happy, because this process of Krsna consciousness is very easy
- If one is initiated by a proper person, he can be accepted as twice-born immediately. In our Krsna consciousness movement, we therefore offer the student his first initiation and allow him to chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra
- If one is not allowed to enter the temple, or if he thinks himself unfit to enter the temple, he can look at the wheel from outside the temple, and that is as good as seeing the Deity within
- If one is perfect in his inquiry from the authorized spiritual master, he can write things. Otherwise, what is the use of writing nonsense? Those books will be thrown away. After reading..., just like the newspaper thrown away
- If one is so expert that he can engage everything or dovetail everything in the service of the Lord, to give up the material world would be a great blunder
- If one keeps a large amount of cash with him, he is always anxious about keeping it properly. Thus if one discusses the disadvantages of accumulating wealth, he can naturally give up business without difficulty
- If one looks further into the matter with a little intelligence, he can understand that it was not the body that was enjoying at all but the small spiritual spark that was within
- If one takes shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, however, he can be elevated to the highest perfection, even though he be lowborn
- If one takes to devotional service and at the same time desires to merge into the existence of the Supreme Lord, he can achieve that
- If one takes to Krsna consciousness very seriously, he can withstand the provocation created by sin
- If one takes to the DS of the Lord and surrenders unto Him, the Lord is prepared to give one directions by which to return home, back to Godhead, but if one foolishly wants to keep himself in darkness, he can continue in a life of material existence
- If one tries he can also return home, back to Godhead. This prowess is given by the Supreme Personality of Godhead as the Supersoul
- If one wants to go to the higher material planets, he can keep his finer dress of mind, intelligence and ego, but has to leave his gross dress (body) made of earth, water, fire, etc
- If one wants, he can develop, by practice, the mode of goodness and thus defeat the modes of ignorance and passion. One can similarly develop the mode of passion and defeat goodness and ignorance. BG 1972 purports
- If some yogi shows some mystic power, and little gold if he can manufacture, we accept him as God. But we forget the real yogi who has created millions of gold mines, floating in the air
- If somebody is interested to know what is the important thing, then he can understand this. And if he's animal, simply eating, sleeping, mating, what he will understand?
- If somebody makes distinction between Hindu or Christian philosophy, he is not a philosopher. He can not say the sun is the Indian sun because it shines in India, or it's the American sun because it shines in America. But actually the sun is the same sun
- If somebody wants to create, then at once we shall call him a fool. We have got test tube. Very boldly we shall say. Now let them prove that he can create
- If someone engages in devotional service in all seriousness, the Lord instructs him in two ways - through the pure devotee and from within - so that he can advance in devotional service. By cultivating such devotional service, he becomes perfect
- If someone says, "I'm not educated at all, & I cannot read books," he is still not disqualified. He can still perfect his life by simply chanting the maha-mantra: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
- If someone wants to understand a little philosophy, he can purchase one of our books. We have got so many big, big books. So in this spirit carry on with great enthusiastic endeavor and this will please me very, very much
- If the father is not intelligent, how the sons and daughters can become intelligent? A dog cannot give birth to an intelligent person. A person who is intelligent, he can give birth to intelligent children. This is our practical experience
- If the king is saintly, and if he understands the philosophy of life, then he can turn the whole picture
- If the king or the president understands Bhagavad-gita, he can make solution of all the problems. But he remains a rascal, and there is no solution
- If the president thinks that he can be spared, then he can go
- If the yogi is curious to know what the moon is like, he can transfer himself there, or if he is interested in higher planets, he can transfer himself there, just as travelers go to New York, Canada, or other cities on the earth
- If the yogi is perfect, he can select the time and place for leaving this material world, but if he is not so perfect, then he has to leave at nature's will. BG 1972 purports
- If the yogi is reluctant to maintain any connection with the material world, he can, in less than a second, reach the transcendental Vaikuntha and appear there completely in his spiritual body which will be suitable for him in the spiritual atmosphere
- If there is only one pure devotee in pure Krsna consciousness, he can change the total consciousness of the world into Krsna consciousness. This is not very difficult to understand if we study the behavior of Dhruva Maharaja
- If we strain, and if he takes one book home, some day people will come to understand what valuable knowledge they have received. It is transcendental literature. Nobody can challenge it. It is done so nicely, without any spot, the spotless Purana
- If you develop love for God... Just like Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He is in ecstasy, always in love. He can see. Similarly, if you develop your love for God, then you can see
- If you enter anyone's house without permission, he can kill you. This is the law. And every door, there is signboard: "Beware of the dogs." So it is not possible to go and beg, "Sir, give us something
- If you mold the character of a child from the very beginning, then he can become a great man
- If you perform the spiritual duties rightly, then you are saved. Otherwise, even acarya gives you instruction, if you don't follow, so how he can save you?
- If you read different scripture, you will be bewildered. In one scripture it is said . . . but there is adjustment. If you go to the authorized person, he can adjust. But you cannot see
- If you receive your guru, give him very nice place he can sit comfortably, and he's pleased with your behavior, then he can speak very frankly and very freely, which will be very much beneficial for you
- In a family if there is one good boy, he can glorify the whole family and similarly if there is bad boy he can turn the whole family into ashes
- In any position and anywhere in the world, he (a person) can perform this devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead and thus become actually mahatma, a great soul. BG 1972 purports
- In our Krsna consciousness movement we therefore change a devotee's name to a form that reminds him of Visnu. If at the time of death the devotee can remember his own name, such as Krsnadasa or Govinda dasa, he can be saved from the greatest danger
- In Sanatana Gosvami’s Hari-bhakti-vilasa, it is stated: By chemical manipulation, bell metal is turned into gold when touched by mercury; similarly, when a person is properly initiated, he can acquire the qualities of a brahmana
- In the Bhagavad-gita it is said, yesam tu anta-gatam papam (BG 7.28): "One who is free from all contamination of sinful activities, simply engaged in pious activities only, without any doubt and duality, with fixed-up mind, he can become Krsna conscious
- In the Caitanya-caritamrta it is said that one should have complete conviction that simply by serving the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna he can achieve all perfection. That is called real faith. BG 1972 purports
- In the Isopanisad also, the devotee prays that the glaring effulgence of Brahman may be removed from his eyes so that he can see the real, personal feature of the Lord and thus satisfy himself fully
- In the material world there are always dangers at every step (padam padam yad vipadam na tesam (SB 10.14.58)). Nonetheless, if one takes shelter of Krsna without hesitation and keeps under the shelter of Krsna, he can easily cross the ocean of nescience
- In the modern age, however, there are so many rascals who recommend that while one has genitals he should enjoy women as much as he likes, and at the same time he can become a yogi
- In the Nrsimha-tapani (2.5.16) it is said that when a person is actually liberated he can understand the transcendental pastimes of the Supreme Lord and thus engage in His devotional service
- In the SB it is also confirmed that when one becomes purified by executing the process of devotional service, especially by hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam or BG from realized souls, then he can understand the science of Krsna or the science of God. BG 1972 p
- In the Vedic civilization, these (Eating, sleeping, mating) necessities are prescribed in a regulated way so that he can satisfy his physical necessities, at the same time, become Krsna conscious and go back to home, back to Godhead
- In this age everyone is fallen. But he can be, I mean to say, elevated to the position of nice brain. How? By param vijayate sri-krsna-sankirtanam. Simply by chanting
- In this age people are degrading so much that at the end of the day, if he can have a full belly meal, he says: "Oh, I am now satisfied." Just like animal
- In this material world everyone individually has to take care of himself. How he can be saved from the clutches of maya. That is Krsna consciousness movement. A teacher can give you hints. The acarya can give you hints
- In this verse (SB 3.20.25) it is stated that Brahma approached Hari, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This form of the Lord is Ksirodakasayi Visnu. Whenever there is some trouble and Brahma has to approach the Lord, he can approach Ksirodakasayi Visnu
- In this way he would look for it, and when he could see that the deer was comfortably situated, his mind and heart would be very satisfied, and he would bestow his blessings upon the deer, saying, "My dear calf, may you be happy in all respects
- Instead of accepting a temporary occupational duty based on the material body, one should take to the process of sanatana-dharma, or bhakti-yoga, so that he can put an end to this perpetual bondage in material bodies and return home, back to Godhead
- It appears that even if a yogi does not drink a drop of water, he can live for many, many years by the yogic process, though his outer body be eaten by ants and moths
- It is easy for a conditioned living entity to be falsely directed in this way, and once he is so directed he can never come to his actual position or enjoy his eternal activity in bhakti yoga
- It is fact: if one is fortunate enough, then he can understand this Krsna consciousness philosophy by the grace of Krsna and guru
- It is natural that when a child becomes angry he can begin crying with false tears in his eyes. So Krsna did this, and biting His reddish lips with His teeth, He broke the pot with a stone, entered a room and began to eat the freshly churned butter
- It is not a fact that one has to offer his material possessions to the Supreme Personality of Godhead and be liberated before he can engage in devotional service. A devotee automatically attains liberation without separate endeavors
- It is not necessary that one has to learn Sanskrit. He can be made good provided he fully surrenders to Krsna
- It is required, sadhu-sanga. Then if he meets sadhu . . . By one or two words from him, he can convince you about supremacy of the Supreme Lord. Otherwise, he'll take birth after birth, bahunam janmanam ante
- It is said: Everyone gets a father and mother, but if one gets the benediction of Krsna and guru, he can conquer material nature and return home, back to Godhead
- It is the medicine recommended in the sastra, ceto-darpana-marjanam. That dust of ignorance is moved. He can understand that, "I am not this body, I am spirit soul, part and parcel of Krsna. My duty is to serve Krsna." In this way, he becomes enlightened
- It is very encouraging to learn that you think Mr. George Harrison will be happy to print our Krishna book. This will be a very great service to the mankind at large, if he can be of assistance in this connection
- It's a farce condition. That so-called democracy is nonsense demoncracy. And by this demoncracy, it can be done. A demon may be, if he can simply secure votes. What is the position? Without any training

- Jnani wants to merge, and karmi wants higher level, higher standard of life. That is karmi's business. Karmis give in charity just to acquire pious result out of it, so that after death he can be elevated to the Svargaloka, heavenly planet
- Just by treating the root cause of an ailment, one can conquer all bodily pains and sufferings. Similarly, if one is devoted and faithful to the spiritual master, he can conquer the influence of sattva-guna, rajo-guna and tamo-guna very easily
- Just like uneducated person: It is not that he'll have to remain in that uneducated standard, but he can become educated. That is Krsna consciousness movement, that there is no check on any particular person, community, to become God conscious

- Kapiladeva is the greatest authority because He is the Personality of Godhead, and if someone accepts whatever is explained as it is, without interpretation, then he can see himself
- Krsna consciousness is meant for all living entities, if he can. And where is the difficulty? So it may be difficult in other forms of life, but in the human form of life it is not at all difficult
- Krsna consciousness is not for the fools. It is not for the fools. Highly intelligent class of man, he can understand the philosophical aspect of Krsna consciousness. But the thing is so attractive that even a child, even a fool is attracted
- Krsna consciousness means to develop love for Krsna. So one who has developed this love for Krsna, he can see Krsna every moment. There is no difficulty
- Krsna consciousness movement is at least trying to give the people what is the aim of life, how he can be happy, how he can regain his eternal position of blissful life. These are the things. And they are authorized
- Krsna does not say that only the person who is in goodness, who has the brahminical platform, he can be engaged in service of the Lord. Actually, he can be engaged, not in the passion
- Krsna indicates that if one is able to leave his body at a particular time, he can become liberated, never to return to the material world. On the other hand, he indicates that if one dies at another time, he has to return
- Krsna is criticizing Arjuna, maha-bahu. Actually he is maha-bahu. Maha-bahu means mighty-armed. One who has got a very strong, mighty arm, he can fight very strongly. Then also, why should you give up your fighting spirit?
- Krsna is guiding. So everyone is being guided by Krsna, even in this condition of life. And when he fully surrendered, how much guidance will come, just imagine? Even without surrender He's guiding. Without His guidance he can not do it
- Krsna is not alone. Supreme..., any person, he can not be alone. Just like we are here, we are not alone. We are so many friends, so many associates. So person does not mean alone. Person means with associates
- Krsna is very merciful to those who engage in His service, and He helps in various ways that devotee who is fully surrendered to Him so he can understand Him as He is. BG 1972 purports
- Krsna's another name is Akincana-gocara. He can be understood by akincana, one who thinks himself as very humble, meek. That is also said in the Bible, that one has to become meek and humble. Then he can understand
- Ksatriyas were allowed to hunt in the forest to learn the art of killing, because that was necessity for the ksatriyas. Ksatriyas, if . . . if the king, if he finds somebody is doing wrong, he can immediately chop off his head if he likes
- Ksatriyas, they have to learn how to kill. So practically, they should go to the forest and kill some animal. And if he likes, he can eat also. If he likes, he can eat also

- Last word (mad-yajino 'pi yanti mam) is, Krsna says that, "If one wants to come to Me," "Then he can also come to Me." Now you make your judgment: if you want to go back to the again animal forms of life, you can go
- Let this king follow Maharaja Yudhisthira and show an example of how monarchy can make a perfect state. There is instruction in the sastras, and if he follows, he can do that. He has got the power
- Like an unfortunate person who acts madly, haunted by ghosts, a materialist haunted by the ghost of lust forgets his real business so that he can enjoy so-called happiness in the bodily concept of life
- Lord Brahma, the father of Narada Muni, is the supreme person within this universe. As soon as Narada saw the great swan, he could understand that Lord Brahma had arrived
- Lord Krsna said, "He can very easily cross over ocean of nescience, and he is not subject to the influence he illusory energy. Dear friend, everyone should consider his father to be his first teacher because by the mercy of one's father one gets body"

- Man and animal, they have got common platform of these four principles of life: eating, sleeping, mating and defending. The only extra qualification of man is that he can come to understand what is Krsna and what is God. That is his special qualification
- Man cannot check all these evils simply by statutory acts and police vigilance, but he can cure the disease of the mind by the proper medicine, namely advocating the principles of brahminical culture - austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness
- Man is rational. Man is animal, but rational animal. The special gift to man is that he can decide what is good, what is bad. He has got an extra knowledge than the animals
- Manava-dharma, "man's religion." I asked him (Nanda) several times that "Is there any dog's religion? You have manufactured that." Religion means man's religion. That much he can do. Manava-dharma. He is educated, intelligent, buddhi - with no brain
- Manda means very slow. Sleeping, out of twenty-four hours, sleeping twelve hours, and out of twelve hours, they're busy in earning money ten hours. Then two hours left. What he can do for spiritual understanding. There's no time
- Manusyanam sahasresu kascid yatati siddhaye (BG 7.3). Out of many millions and millions of persons, one is intelligent enough, he can inquire "Why I am suffering?" Everyone is suffering. That's a fact. Only the rascals, they think, We're enjoying
- Mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca (BG 15.15). Because the conditioned soul wants to forget You (the Supreme Personality of Godhead), by Your grace You give him opportunities, life after life, by which he can almost perpetually forget You
- Maya inflicts the miseries of material life upon the jiva. If a person artificially tries to be something he is not, then he can expect only misery
- Milk touched by the lips of a serpent has poisonous effects; similarly, talks about Krsna given by a non-Vaisnava are also poisonous. One must be a bona fide devotee, and then he can preach and impress devotional service upon his listeners

- Sometimes people ask whether we can show them God. This is ludicrous. It is not necessary for one to see God before he can accept God
- Sometimes people say that bhakti, devotional service is for less intelligent class of men. No. It is the one who has become highly intelligent, he can take to Krsna consciousness

- Suppose in my babyhood, what was the feature of my body, I do not know. But there was. My mother knows. He can, she can explain, "My dear child, you were like this, you were like this." So forgetfulness is also not that I did not exist

- That is described in the Brahma-samhita (cintamani prakara-sadmasu kalpa-vrksa (Bs. 5.29)). A pure Vaisnava is compared to such a wish-fulfilling tree, for he can bestow a matchless gift upon a sincere disciple - Krsna consciousness
- That is not love. I go to somebody and flatter him to get something. Just like a shopkeeper does also like that. He flatters the customers in so many ways to sell goods so that he can make some profit. So there is no question of love

- The constant symptom of the spiritual master is that he can deliver his disciple from the blazing fire of this material existence. That is the eternal qualification of the spiritual master
- The devotee is expected to accept all nine processes of devotional service, but even if only one process is properly executed, he can still attain the highest position (paramahamsa) and go back home, back to Godhead
- The eternally existing anti-material world is unmanifested to the material scientist. He can simply have information of it insofar as the principles of its existence are contrary to the modes of the material world

- The living being himself, of course, is eternal, and if he so desires he can realize his eternality by merging into the body of the Absolute Truth or being reinstated in his constitutional position as an eternal servant of the Lord
- The living being is the marginal energy of the Absolute Personality of Godhead, and he can spend his conserved energy either externally or internally
- The living entity is seeking happiness life after life, but he can make a solution to all his problems simply by practicing bhakti-yoga

- The spirit of enjoyment is present in its pure form in the spiritual world, in relation to Krsna, but we have come here to partake of contaminated enjoyment, just as a man on the Bowery thinks he can enjoy by drinking some liquor

- The word avadhuta means "most free." A person is not under the rules and regulations of any injunction when he has attained the stage of avadhuta. In other words, he can act as he likes

- This is not the case with KC (as in the world without completely construct the building it's useless), for even if one does not come to the perfectional point, whatever work he does is his permanent asset, & he can begin from that point in his next life
