- In the Bhagavad-gita it is said, yesam tu anta-gatam papam (BG 7.28): "One who is free from all contamination of sinful activities, simply engaged in pious activities only, without any doubt and duality, with fixed-up mind, he can become Krsna conscious
- In the Caitanya-caritamrta it is said, krsna ye bhaje se bada catura. The most intellectual person can become Krsna conscious, not ordinary man
- In the dasya-rasa one follows in the footsteps of servants like Citraka, Patraka or Raktaka. In the friendly sakhya-rasa one can become a friend like Baladeva, Sridama or Sudama
- In the material, if one is known as thief, then thousands of people will beat him with shoes. That is the difference. If you say: "Krsna was a thief, then I can become a thief," then you will be beating of shoes on your head
- In the rainy season, when the rivers swell and rush to the oceans and seas, they appear to agitate the ocean. Similarly, if a person engaged in the mystic yoga process is not very much advanced in spiritual life, he can become agitated by the sex impulse
- In the Siddhalokas there are perfected beings or yogis who can travel wherever they want without the aid of airplanes or other mechanical contrivances. Once we are liberated from material conditioning, we can become very powerful

- Krsna had no business to take part in the battle, because He is God, samo 'ham sarva-bhutesu na me dvesyo 'sti na priyah, He has no enemy. Nobody can become His enemy. If he becomes enemy of Krsna, he will be vanquished. Therefore He has no enemy
- Krsna has said that, Of all the yogis, one who is thinking of Me within himself, he's the first-class yogi. So you can become a first-class yogi at home without any expenditure, without any loss
- Krsna is cent percent perfect. We can become minutely perfect, seventy-eight percent. These are all analyzed by the Gosvamis

- Mad-bhakta, if you are poorest of the poor you can become a devotee. Ahaituky apratihata yenatma samprasidati (SB 1.2.6). If you want to become a devotee of Krsna, there is no impediment throughout the three worlds within the universe
- Mahatma is broad, broader-minded, broader soul, whose soul has become broader. How you can become broader? If you dovetail yourself with the supreme broadest, then you become broader. Otherwise you become smaller
- Mahim maha-bhagavatah sasasa, ruled over, a great devotee. It does not mean a great devotee is simply engaged in chanting Hare Krsna mantra. No. A great devotee may be the chief of the executive function of the state. He can become. That is required
- Medical books of anatomy or physiology are available in the market, but no one can become a qualified practitioner simply by reading such books at home. One has to be admitted to the medical college and study the books under the guidance of professors
- Money and women can be fully utilized in the service of the Lord, and one who can utilize them in this way can become freed from material bondage

- Narada is not only well behaved, meek and obedient, but also self-controlled. One who is not self-controlled, specifically in sex life, can become neither a disciple nor a spiritual master
- No one but the Supreme Lord (Krsna) can become well versed in all the branches of Vedic wisdom simply by hearing once from his teacher. Nor can anyone bring a dead body back to life after the soul has already gone to the region of Yamaraja
- No one can become one with or equal to God. To imagine this is to continue one's bondage in material existence
- Nobody can become a bhakta unless he has disgusted with material life. "I shall do this, I shall do that." And he'll never do bhakti-yoga. That's all. This is not possible
- Nobody can become a medical practitioner simply by purchasing book from the market and reading at home. That is not possible
- Nobody can become a spiritual master who has no reference to the scriptures and these qualities. Nobody can be accepted as a qualified man, he has not . . . if one has not developed his character through the scripture under the instruction of guru
- Nobody can become father of Krsna. That is not possible. Aham bija-pradah pita. He is the original father. Then how nandatmaja? How Nanda Maharaja can become the father of Krsna? No. That father means he wanted to become the best servant of Krsna
- Nobody can become religious man if he is attracted by sinful activities. It is not possible. You must stop sinful activities. That is first condition
- Nobody can become spiritual master if he has no knowledge. If he's a speculator, he cannot become a spiritual master
- Nobody can say that "Without going to the guru we can become happy." That is not possible, according to Vedic principle. Even Caitanya Mahaprabhu, although He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He accepted guru

- Not by force one can become first class. According to the sastra, who is first class, who is second class, who is third class, who is fourth class, who is fifth class, that is to be understood. Guna-karma-vibhagasah
- Not only was mother Sita powerful, but any woman who follows in the footsteps of mother Sita can also become similarly powerful. There are many instances of this in the history of Vedic literature
- Not ordinary man can become President Nixon's servant or secretary. Similarly to go back to home, back to Godhead means you get the same type of body, as Krsna has got
- Not that anyone can become acarya. He must give explanation of the Vedanta-sutra, prasthana-traya. There is system

- One can also become a hero by being master of the senses, a gosvami. Material activities are false heroic activities, whereas restraining the senses from material engagement is great heroism
- One can become a bona fide spiritual master if he has sufficient knowledge of the science of Krsna, Krsna consciousness
- One can become brahmana. If he gets association of a brahmana, if he agrees to be trained up by a brahmana, he can become brahmana. And brahmana means brahma janati iti brahmana, not by birth. Anyone who has full knowledge of the Supreme, he is brahmana

- One can become old man even without age. That means it is knowledge that is counted, not the age
- One can become perfectly successful in the mission of his life if he acts exactly according to the words he hears from the mouth of his spiritual master
- One can understand the order of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, he can become guru. Or one who understands his guru's order, the same parampara, he can become guru. And therefore I shall select some of you
- One famous Marquess told one of my Godbrothers, "Please make me a brahmana." My Godbrother said, - Yes, it is not a very difficult thing. Simply give up these bad habits - intoxication, illicit sex, meat-eating and gambling. Then you can become a brahmana
- One has only to become free from all contamination by the process of devotional service. In this way everyone can become fit to return home, back to Godhead. This is confirmed by the Lord Himself in Bhagavad-gita - BG 9.32

- One may come to the right conclusion regarding the Lord's transcendental position. One who can come to the conclusion of the Lord's transcendence can become a devotee of the Lord and can at once be free from all reactions of past deeds
- One may say that, "What qualification I have got that I can become guru?" That only qualification, yare dekha, tare kaha 'krsna' upadesa. You don't require to manufacture any upadesa. Whatever is there already spoken by Krsna, you distribute it
- One must begin with faith, and when this faith is increased by chanting, a person can become a member of the Society
- One should be trained from the very beginning how to become gentle. From the very beginning if one is taught to become ungentle, uncontrolled of senses, how at the end he can become gentle

- One who knows this secret is actually educated, and one thus educated can become the spiritual master of the world. One who is an actually bona fide spiritual master, representative of Krsna, is not different from Krsna
- Only in the association of devotees can one relish the glorification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Just through a little association with a pure devotee, one can become successful in his journey back to Godhead
- Only the siddhas, or persons liberated from material bondage, can become devotees. This is also confirmed in Bhagavad-gita

- Pariksit Maharaja, who was very intelligent, said - By atonement one can become free from sinful activity, but suppose a man has committed murder and then is killed
- Perfection means to engage in one's original consciousness. That is perfection. That is stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.45): "By following his qualities of work, every man can become perfect." Complete perfection. Samsiddhi
- Persons born in brahmana families think that because they execute the ritualistic ceremonies recommended in the Vedas and follow the principles of smrti, they alone can become spiritual masters of society

- Sannyasa means you can become a sannyasi even with your, this coat-pant. It doesn't matter, provided you have dedicated your life for the service of God. That is called sannyasa

- Simply by offering food to Krsna we can become devotees. We need not spend an extra farthing
- Simply by understanding the activities of Krsna one can become transcendental, and as soon as one is transcendental he is fit to be transferred to the transcendental world
- Simply cultivate Krsna consciousness favorably: "How I can become a lover of Krsna?" That is wanted
- So anyone can be trained up. Just like these boys. They were fourth class, fifth class. And now they are trained up to become first-class men. Just like anyone can become geographer, anyone can become engineer by proper training
- So bhakti is not very ordinary thing. It begins after one is liberated. The Mayavadi says that "By bhakti one can become one with God." No. That is not bhakti. That is Mayavada. That is mistake
- Soldiers killing and ordinary killing is not the same, but my point is that God gives you the law that you shall not kill. Now if you are violating that law, then how you can become religious? That is my question

- Srnvatam sva-kathah krsnah punya-sravana-kirtanah (SB 1.2.17). One who hears and chants can become punya, purified of material contamination
- Submissive hearing is so powerful that simply by hearing from authoritative sources we can become completely perfect. In becoming submissive, we become aware of our own imperfections
- Sukadeva Gosvami said, "My dear king, those who are sinful can become purified from contamination by tapa-adibhih, practicing austerity." Sukadeva also said, however, that no one can become completely purified by executing this process of austerity
- Supplementary note to this chapter (SB 6.2). Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura's commentary to texts nine and ten of this chapter form a dialogue concerning how one can become free from all sinful reactions simply by chanting the holy name of the Lord

- The land is in your possession, you can cultivate as you like. Similarly, this body is land, & I am the tiller. I am the krsaka, or agriculturist. So by using the land, I can become spiritually advanced or I can become materially advanced. It is up to me
- The living being can never possess attributes like Siva, Visnu or Lord Krsna. A living being can become godly by developing the seventy-eight-percent transcendental attributes in fullness, but he can never become a God like Siva, Visnu or Krsna
- The living entity, by accepting his material existence as just so much suffering, can become situated in his spiritual existence. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord is infallible in the material world because He is the supreme spiritual person. Similarly, the jivas, who are part and parcel of the Lord, can also become infallible

- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is identified by the symptoms mentioned in the sastras. It is not that anyone and everyone can become God without proof from sastras
- The universality of Caitanya Mahaprabhu's movement is such that anyone can become Krsna conscious, and anyone can accept or be elevated to the exalted post of gosvami, namacarya. Just like Haridasa Thakura
