- God is equally kind, equally merciful, but we fight. We, disagree in religious principle. That is due to Kali. Not this Kali. Kali means due to our fighting spirit. It is not God. God is equal to everyone. We fight because we have got misconception

- If a man is rich, three things, four things will be at his command: wine, woman, gold and gambling. Yes. So therefore these are the places, I mean to say, allotted to Kali by Pariksit Maharaja
- If the personality of Kali, irreligion, is allowed to act as a man-god or an executive head, certainly irreligious principles like greed, falsehood, robbery, incivility, treachery, misfortune, cheating, quarrel and vanity will abound

- Maharaja Pariksit gave license to Kali to live in four places as mentioned hereinbefore, but by his very expert government the personality of Kali could hardly find the places allotted him
- Maharaja Pariksit like his grandfather Arjuna, collected all illicit gold kept for the propensities of Kali and employed it in the sankirtana-yajna, as per instruction of the Srimad-Bhagavatam
- Maharaja Pariksit made an organized effort to propagate the chanting of the Lord's holy name, and thus he saved the citizens from the clutches of Kali. It is for this advantage only that great sages sometimes wish all good for the age of Kali
- Maharaja Pariksit thus gave him (Kali) permission to live in a place where there is gold, because wherever there is gold there are all the above-mentioned four things (falsity, intoxication, lust, envy) and over and above them there is enmity also

- That is the way of stopping the activities of Kali (close all shops of intoxicating drugs and wine and force punishment even by death for those who indulge in habits of intoxication), as exhibited herein (SB 1.17.28) by Maharaja Pariksit, the maha-ratha
- The age of Kali aims at killing the higher principles of life, and although Maharaja Pariksit strongly resisted the domination of the personality of Kali within the world, the influence of the age of Kali came at an opportune moment
- The bull, or the personality of religion, and the cow, the personality of the earth, knew perfectly well that the personality of Kali was the direct cause of their sufferings
- The counteracting process (to the age of Kali) is suggested above (allowing Kali to live in five places), and everyone can take advantage of this suggestion

- The symptoms of Kali are (1) wine, (2) women, (3) gambling and (4) slaughterhouses
- The very day and moment the Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krsna, left this earth, the personality of Kali, who promotes all kinds of irreligious activities, came into this world

- They (sages to Suta Gosvami) ask the reason, "Why the king, Maharaja Pariksit, punished that Kali in the dress of a king? If possible, kindly describe the reason. And provided it will help our Krsna consciousness." This is the condition
- This age of Kali will certainly be full of all activities of Kali, but this does not mean that the leaders of society, executive heads, learned and intelligent men, or above all devotees of God should sit down tightly & become callous to its reactions
- This doubtfulness (of the personality of religion) was due to the contamination of both Kali and the material energy. The whole atmosphere of the age of Kali is magnified by the deluding energy, and the proportion of measurement is inexplicable

- We are interested to hear about Maharaja Pariksit's punishing the Kali provided it helps us to advance in Krsna consciousness. Otherwise we have no interest. This should be the principle of devotees
- When Kali could not penetrate into the daily behavior of the people, he planned killing of Pariksit Maharaja. So one Kali brahmin cursed him to death, for no fault practically. Therefore the brahmins of this age, they are condemned
- When the personification of Kali attempted to kill a cow, Maharaja Pariksit at once prepared himself to kill the miscreant, and the personification of Kali was banished from his kingdom. That is the sign of purusa, or the representative of Lord Visnu
- When there is sufficient austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness, naturally mother earth is completely satisfied, and there is very little chance for Kali to infiltrate the structure of human society
