- The material scientist can simply study the partial understanding of the varieties of energies; he can take up one of the energies and try to understand it with limited knowledge, but still it is not possible to understand the Absolute Truth in full

- The material scientists - the modern quasi priests who invoke such material activities - invent many objects to gratify the material senses such as the eye, ear, nose, and tongue and ultimately the mind, & there results a field of unnecessary competition
- The material scientists also want to challenge the inconceivable potency of the Lord by measuring Him with their froglike brains and their scientific achievements, but at the end they simply die unsuccessfully, like the frog

- The material scientists may have discovered the law of gravity, which maintains the integration of objects in the material energy yet the master of all integration can create devastation by the disintegrating blazing fire emanating from His (God's) mouth
- The materialist scientists, they are simply trying to know the prakrti. But they do not know the purusa. Prakrti means the enjoyed, and purusa means the enjoyer. Actually enjoyer is Krsna. He's the original purusa
- The materialistic scientist's endeavor to reach other planets by mechanical vehicles is only a futile attempt. One can, however, reach heavenly planets by virtuous activities, but one can never expect to go beyond Svarga or Janaloka
- The modern demons are the harmful material scientists who create some material wonders for disturbance in the society. For example, the creation of nuclear weapons has caused some panic in human society

- They (material scientists) can bluff because people are not aware of the whole science. They can bluff. In this material world there are two energies working: material and spiritual. There cannot be only material
- They (material scientists) say, matter produces varieties of material things on its own
- They (materialistic scientist) can report on what is not on the moon, but do they know what is there? No, they do not know. And this is only one planet or one star
- They (materialistic scientists) cannot see the mind, intelligence, or false ego, what to speak of the soul. Therefore they say, "The body is everything, and there is nothing more." Actually, however, that is not a fact
- They (Sankhya philosophers, metaphysicians or materialistic scientists) wrongly conclude that the reactions of the material elements are the original cause of creation. The Bhagavad-gita, however, does not accept this theory
- They (the material scientist) consider the intuition of living creatures from birth to be material. But such material tendencies as bodily intuition cannot be accepted as independent, for they suggest the existence of a spirit soul within the body
- They (the material scientists) should know definitely that spiritual force is distinct from matter and that such energy is not possible to produce by any amount of material adjustment
- This (material scientists have no information of the deathless spiritual nature) is due to their ignorance of the Vedic literature, which contains full knowledge confirmed by mature transcendental experience

- When there is danger, even materialistic scientists pray to God. Of course, when they are not in danger they defy God, and therefore danger is required in order to teach these rascals that there is God
