- A Vaisnava, or worshiper of Lord Visnu, gradually becomes poorer in material possessions because God does not trick His devotees into becoming materially entangled by possessions. Visnu gives His devotees intelligence from within, as Bhagavad-gita says

- In the beginning, when a devotee is serious and sincere, the Lord gives him directions from within to approach a bona fide spiritual master
- Inquisitiveness is called brahma-jijnasa. That is required. Human society, human being must be interested in knowing that, the Supreme Absolute Truth, who has given us these codes and laws

- Vedic knowledge was given by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who created this material world. This is also accepted by Sankaracarya, although he is not a Vaisnava
- Vyasadeva is incarnation of Krsna, so he has given us the Vedic literature. Therefore his name is Vedavyasa, incarnation of God. Maha-muni-krte kim va paraih (SB 1.1.2). There is no need of speculating. Just follow Vyasadeva in the disciplic succession

- When He (God) appears, His main purpose is to give solace to His devotees
- When someone insists upon acting sinfully, the Supreme Lord gives him the sanction to act at his own risk
- Why does He (God) give sanction for our sinful activities? Because we want to do it. Because we want to do it. God does not want that you become implicated in sinful life
