- A devotee does not aspire for mukti, even if it is offered by the Supreme Lord Himself

- The word mumuksubhih refers to those who aspire for mukti, liberation. When one becomes disgusted with material engagement, one wants to destroy everything that has anything to do with the material world
- The word vimuktidat is also significant. There are different types of liberation, such as sayujya, salokya, sarupya, sarsti and samipya (CC Madhya 6.266), but vimukti means - special mukti
- There are different types of material opulence, known technically as bhukti, mukti and siddhi
- There are five different kinds of mukti. Impersonalists prefer to merge into the existence of the Transcendence, but the personalists, or devotees, do not annihilate their individuality
- They (God and his devotees) are mukta-purusas, liberated persons, under all circumstances
- This (sayujya-mukti - this form of mukti means denying one’s individual existence) is absolutely opposed to the philosophy of bhakti-yoga. Bhakti-yoga offers immortality to the individual conditioned soul
- This bhakti means mukti. Because bhakti means to be engaged in devotional service of the Supreme, therefore that is mukti
- Those who are in Krsna consciousness, or who are practicing bhakti-yoga (sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam pada-sevanam), can return to Godhead without even practicing the muktasana process
- Those who aspire for liberation (mukti or moksa) and introduce themselves as vaidantika are also equal to those groups aspiring to improve religion (dharma), economic development (artha) and sense gratification - kama
- To approach Krsna is not very easy job, Krsna says in the BG, manusyanam sahasresu kascid yatati siddhaye yatatam api siddhanam. Those who are muktas . . . to become mukta, that is also difficult job. Out of many millions of jnanis, one becomes mukta
- To understand Krsna in truth, that is not very easy task. That is very, very difficult task. Even the muktas cannot understand Krsna

- Vaisnava philosophers do not accept sayujya-mukti to be within the category of mukti. According to them, mukti means transferal to the loving service of the Lord from one's position of serving maya
- Visnu, and none else, is called mukti-pada, or the Personality of Godhead who can bestow upon us mukti, liberation

- We are in some inconvenience, just like we are in inconvenience for transport, oh, scientist gives us some horseless carriage. That is also vimukti. We feel inconvenienced for working so the scientist has given us the car
- We are now encumbered with this material body, and as soon as we become free from this material conception of life, that is called mukti. That is called brahma-bhuta
- What is my own constitutional position? I am eternal servant of God, Krsna. This is my position. So when we give up all these designation service and engage myself in the real service of the real master, that is called mukti, liberation
- When a devotee is always thus situated in Krsna consciousness in any condition of life, he is described as mukti-pade sa daya-bhak, a perfect candidate for returning home, back to Godhead. The word daya-bhak means "inheritance"
