- The whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita is based on this principle, that Arjuna was perplexed with material thoughts. And Lord Krsna wanted to pose him, or to place him, in the spiritual platform
- The whole thing is instructed in the Bhagavad-gita and if we accept the teachings of Bhagavad-gita, as it is without unnecessary commentary on it, then our spiritual movement will be successful
- The whole Vedic adventure is to draw one's attention entirely unto the lotus feet of Lord Krsna without any diversion, as instructed in the Bhagavad-gita
- The words of Bhagavad-gita are authoritative instructions for faithful men
- There are commentators and people who have taken it that everyone is perfect, and that they can interpret scripture in their own way. As far as we are concerned, we agree to read the Bhagavad-gita according to the instructions given in the Gita itself
- There are two narrative books which especially concern the words and activities of Krsna. Bhagavad-gita is the instruction given by Krsna, and Srimad-Bhagavatam is the book containing topics exclusively about Krsna and His devotees
- These are the instructions we get from Bhagavad-gita, and whoever reads Bhagavad-gita has to accept Krsna as the guru. We have to render service to a guru and surrender ourselves
- These attempts (to remove the difficulties of the material world) will be always frustrated. That is the intrinsic instruction of Bhagavad-gita
- They (all children and youths) should be taught to hear the instructions of Bhagavad-gita, to put them into practice in their lives, and thus to become strong in devotional service, free from fear of being degraded to animal life
- They (the members of the KCM) should go everywhere to deliver the fallen souls by vibrating the Hare Krsna mantra and the instructions of Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam and Caitanya-caritamrta. That will please the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- This (becoming a pure, unalloyed devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna is the topmost perfection of all religious principles) is the last instruction of the Bhagavad-gita directly presented by the Personality of Godhead
- This (instruction of BG) has to be taken through the parampara, the system of disciplic succession. It is being taught by the Supreme Person because - you are My dear friend. I desire that you may become prosperous and happy. Therefore I speak to you
- This chapter (2 of the Bhagavad-gita) instructs us in self-realization by an analytical study of the material body and the spirit soul, as explained by the supreme authority, Lord Sri Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- This instruction of Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita, so perfect... It must be perfect because it is coming from Krsna. It is not the so-called scientist theory. No. Perfect instruction
- This is the last instruction of Bhagavad-gita (to give up all engagements and unto surrender to God), the most authorized and widely read book on all varieties of yoga. Thus the last word of Bhagavad-gita is the last word in the perfection of yoga
- This misconception (of bodily conception of life) is the strongest impediment, and it must be removed. That is the instruction of Bhagavad-gita and of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- This process (execute everything on behalf of the Supreme Lord) of doing work is recommended in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.27) also, where instruction is given for working on the Lord's account
- This process (Krsna Consciousness) is open to everyone. Everyone has heard of the Bhagavad-gita. We can attain perfection simply by following the instructions given in this book. It is not necessary to abandon our responsibilities
- This same instruction (of BG 18.66) is found throughout all Vedic literatures
- Tyaktva deham punar janma naiti mam eti. This is the invitation. Mam eti: "He comes back to home, back to Godhead." This is the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita
U
- Uddhava continued, "They are meant only for realizing Krsna and dovetailing oneself in the transcendental loving service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead." This is the last instruction of the Bhagavad-gita also
- Unfortunately, the living entity does not accept the Supreme Lord's clearly stated instructions from Bhagavad-gita, and thus he becomes a perpetual captive of the laws of material nature
- Unless a living entity surrenders unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead as instructed in Bhagavad-gita, there is no liberation or freedom from the clutches of maya
- Unless the demoniac activities on the surface of the world are diminished or vanquished, no one can be happy. The program for the conditioned soul is fully described in Bhagavad-gita, and one simply has to follow these instructions to become happy
W
- We are given through its (Bhagavad-gita's) instruction information how to leave the material world and begin a truly blissful life in the spiritual sky. BG 1972 Introduction
- We are preaching Bhagavad-gita As It Is. Our mission is to spread the instructions of Krishna so that people may become happy, hopeful, and peaceful
- We do not disapprove of any activities of the world provided the result is given to Krishna. That is the whole instruction of the Bhagavad Gita
- We do not know what is the position of my real self. That we do not know. This is called ignorance. That instruction is given in the Bhagavad-gita in the beginning: na hanyate hanyamane sarire
- We find at the last stage of the Gita's instructions that Krsna is asking Arjuna whether he is now in purified consciousness. BG 1972 Introduction
- We have come from God; we again go back to God if we simply understand Krsna, or God. This is the whole instruction of the Bhagavad-gita
- We have to check to see if a person is capable of giving instructions in Bhagavad-gita and other literatures of God realization
- We should not allow our desires, demonic desires, to grow. That is called tapasya. Our desires we should sacrifice. That is called sacrifice. We should only accept Krsna's desire. That is the instruction of the Bhagavad-gita
- What is that real religious principle? That is stated in the last instruction: sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja - BG 18.66
- When Arjuna apparently felt the absence of the Lord, he at once took shelter of the instructions of the Bhagavad-gita, and thus again he was placed in his original position
- When Arjuna declined to fight, and then Krsna had to instruct him about the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita just to induce him to fight
- When charity is to be given, one should take instruction from BG (17.20): "That gift which is given out of duty, at the proper time and place, to a worthy person, and without expectation of return, is considered to be charity in the mode of goodness"
- When we read the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, it is understood that we are receiving personal instructions of Krsna. No physical barrier is there in the case of spiritual affairs
- Why Krsna left Bhagavad-gita? Out of His compassion, that "After My disappearance people would take advantage of this Bhagavad-gita. As I instructed My dear friend Arjuna, they will also take advantage and become free from the clutches of death"
- Why not try to take the instruction of Bhagavad-gita, the instruction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and try to utilize it for practical life. And it will be successful. There is no doubt about it. I am speaking from my practical experience
- Why you have created so many rascaldom, politics and economics and this and that? So many things are encumbered. Please come to Me. You'll be happy. - This is the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita
- Why you misinterpret Bhagavad-gita? Our preaching process is that you take Bhagavad-gita's instruction, that is perfect, and you'll be happy
Y
- Yad yad acarati sresthas lokas tad anuvartate (BG 3.21). That is the instruction in the Bhagavad-gita. If the higher level class of men accepts something as truth, then the ordinary, common man follows that
- You have got very nice body, human form of body, intelligence, and civilized life. We are not like animals. We can think peacefully, we have no so hard struggle for life as the animals. So we should utilize. That is the instruction in the Bhagavad-gita
- You must go to a person where you can surrender yourself. That means you've to check, "Who is the real person who can give me instruction on BG or any Vedic literature, or any scripture, right?" And not that, to search out a person as a, whimsically. No
- You simply, yare dekha tare kaha krsna upadesa. You simply repeat the instruction of Bhagavad-gita. Whomever you meet, you try to convince him; then you are guru
- You'll find, throughout the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita, not that blindly. There is submissive presentation: "Krsna, I cannot understand this." That is allowed
- Your transcendental name is different from material names, and Your form is different from material forms. You assume a form resembling a material body just to give us instructions like those of Bhagavad-gita
