- Demigods cannot rescue the living entity from the dangers of material existence. Like other living entities, the demigods are merely external parts of the SP of Godhead's transcendental body. As stated in the Vedic mantras, sa atma-angany anya devatah
- Don't think that Krsna, as it is stated in your English dictionary, "Krsna is a Hindu God." He's not Hindu, He's not Muslim, or He's not Christian. He's God

- Everyone has to perform yajna according to the Vedic hymns. As stated in the Upanisads, fire, the altar, the auspicious full moon, the period of four months called caturmasya, the sacrificial animal, and the beverage called soma are necessary requisites

- If people divide the whole society into four orders for spiritual progress & material progress, centering these orders on Krsna & following the instructions of Krsna as stated in the Bhagavad-gita, the entire human society will undoubtedly be happy
- In either case, whether the soul is conditioned or liberated, the Lord is supreme. As stated in BG 9.10, mayadhyaksena prakrtih suyate sa-caracaram: it is by the order of the SPG that the material energy, mahamaya, works upon the conditioned soul
- In the English dictionary the name of Krsna as stated "a Hindu god." But actually, that is not the fact. Krsna is the name of God. Krsna means the all-attractive, all-good

- Krsna certainly has form, but His form, as stated before, is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (Bs. 5.1), eternal, full of bliss, and full of knowledge. The attributes of His transcendental body are summarized by Lord Brahma in this way - Bs. 5.1
- Krsna is known as Yogesvara, as stated in the last portion of the Bhagavad-gita. Yogesvaro harih: all mystic powers are under His control

- Krsna-prema-pradaya te: (CC Madhya 19.53) He (Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu) liberally gives love of Godhead to anyone and everyone. This can be actually experienced, as stated in the next verse - of CC Adi 8.22

- Life is meant for varieties of enjoyment. The living entity is by nature full of an enjoying spirit, as stated in the Vedanta-sutra (1.1.12): ananda-mayo ’bhyasat. In devotional service the activities are variegated and full of enjoyment
- Lord Brahma and Lord Siva are also sometimes called isvara, but the supreme isvara is Lord Visnu, Lord Krsna. As stated in Brahma-samhita, isvarah paramah krsnah: (BS 5.1) the Supreme Lord is Krsna, Lord Visnu
- Lord Krsna also had many uncles. As stated by Srila Rupa Gosvami in his Brhat Sri Sri Radha-krsna-ganoddesa-dipika (32), upanando ‘bhinandas ca pitrvyau purva-jau pituh: The elder brothers of Nanda Maharaja were Upananda and Abhinanda
- Lord Parasurama is visnu-tattva. As stated in the Isopanisad, visnu-tattva cannot be contaminated by any sinful activity
- Lord Siva does not engage in useless mental speculation, but as stated in the previous verse (SB 4.6.38), he is always thoughtful regarding how to deliver the demons from their fallen condition of life
- Lord Siva said, "As stated in the Bhagavad-gita, You (Krsna) appear in order to protect the devotees, and thus Your appearance indicates good fortune for all the universe"
- Lord Visnu had to think twice about what kind of beautiful form would bewilder even Lord Siva. Consequently He was smiling gravely, as stated in the previous verse (prahasya bhava-gambhiram) - SB 8.12.14

- Na hanyate hanyamane sarire. As stated in Bhagavad-gita (2.20), there is neither birth nor death for the soul. The soul is not destroyed when the body is annihilated
- Niharam iva bhaskarah. Bhaskara refers to the sun. The sun immediately dissipates mist or fog as well as darkness. As stated before, we should try to make the sun of Krsna rise within our hearts

- Of course, in the spiritual world, there is no such thing as creation, but since the Supreme Personality of Godhead has stated in the Vedanta-sutra that He is the source of all emanations, that conception is explained. BG 1972 purports
- On the morning of the next day, one should wash oneself, and after worshiping Lord Krsna as before, one should cook as one cooks for festivals as stated in the Grhya-sutras

- One who is actually very fortunate can begin Krsna consciousness, as stated by Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Only by devotional service can He (the Supreme Lord) be known and not by any other means, as stated in Bhagavad-gita. BG 1972 purports

- Perfection means becoming a devotee of Lord Krsna. As stated in the First Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 1.2.28): vasudeva-para veda vasudeva-para makhah. The ultimate goal of life is Vasudeva, or Krsna
- Persons who are demons, enemies of the SPG, are called asuras. As stated in Bhagavad-gita, the asuras, because of their enmity toward the SPG, take birth after birth in asura families and therefore glide down to the darkest hellish regions
- Pradhana means subtle matter, such as ether. Purusa means the spiritual spark living entities who are entangled in that subtle material existence. These may also be described as para prakrti and apara prakrti, as stated in Bhagavad-gita
- Pure devotees, who take transcendental pleasure in hearing and chanting the glories of God, do not care for any kind of liberation; even if they are offered the five liberations, they refuse to accept them, as stated in the Bhagavatam in the Third Canto

- Sankhya philosophy, as stated herein (SB 3.24.36) by Kapiladeva, is tattvanam. The Sankhya philosophy system is designed to afford understanding of the real truth
- Some devotees consider dedication of the body to the Lord to be atma-nivedanam, and as stated in the book known as Bhakti-viveka, sometimes dedication of the soul to the Lord is called atma-nivedanam
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu established the process of self-realization by His own personal behavior. As stated in the Caitanya-caritamrta - CC Madhya 8.274

- Surabhi cows inhabit the spiritual world, and, as stated in Brahma-samhita, Lord Krsna is engaged in tending these cows: surabhir abhipalayantam - BS 5.29

- The brahmajyoti is actually the effulgence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As stated in Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38) yasya prabha
- The cosmic manifestation is an expansion of one of the many energies of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; the creator and the created are both emanations of the same Supreme Truth, as stated in the beginning of the Bhagavatam
- The external energy of the Lord is very strong, but the Lord, as the master of the three modes of material nature, is ever liberated from the action and reaction of those modes. He, therefore, is uncontaminated, as stated in the Isopanisad
- The living entity is part and parcel of the SP of Godhead, who, as stated in the Vedanta-sutra, is anandamayo 'bhyasat, full of enjoyment. Being part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the living entity is also seeking complete enjoyment
- The Lord (Krsna) displays the transcendental attribute of coming under the control of His devotees. As stated in the Brahma-samhita - BS 5.35
- The Lord appears in the particular form loved by a particular type of devotee. There are millions of forms of the Lord, but they are one Absolute. As stated in the Brahma-samhita, advaitam acyutam anadim ananta-rupam - BS 5.33
- The Lord even remembers when He taught the Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god some billions of years before. The Lord can remember such millions and billions of years, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita
- The Lord is equipped with varieties of energies, as stated in the Vedic literature (parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate (CC Madhya 13.65, purport)). He is equipped with the energy of eternal time
- The Lord is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha, as stated in the sastra (isvarah paramah krsnah sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah (BS 5.1)). When one is in perfect transcendental bliss, he can see the Lord's supreme form - vigraha
- The Lord is spoken of herewith as the origin of the boar species. As stated in the Vedanta-sutra (1.1.2), the Absolute Truth is the origin of everything
- The Lord is very much anxious to get back His parts and parcels, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita. No one is more dear than the one who takes the task of reclaiming the fallen souls back to Godhead
- The mental state of the father and mother before sex will certainly affect the mentality of the child to be begotten. A child who is begotten out of lust may not turn out as the parents desire. As stated in the sastras, yatha yonir yatha bijam
- The more we hear about the transcendental activities of the Lord, as they are stated in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, the more we can know about His transcendental nature and thus make definite progress on the path back to Godhead
- The planet earth herein (SB 4.17.30) exhibits the symptoms of full surrender before the Lord. As stated, no one can protect the person whom Krsna is prepared to kill, and no one can kill the person whom Krsna protects
- The question of creation is also one of such inquiries to be made to the right person. The spiritual master, therefore, must be one who is sama jna, as stated hereinbefore in connection with Sukadeva Gosvami
- The speculative philosophers and yogis cannot imagine this, because they more or less depend on their own strength. As stated in the Katha Upanisad (1.2.23), the Lord can be known only by those whom He favors, and not by anyone else
- The spiritual entities are meant for enjoyment, as stated in the Vedanta-sutra (1.1.12): ananda-mayo 'bhyasat. By nature and constitution, every living being-including the Supreme Lord and each of His parts and parcels-is meant for eternal enjoyment
- The universe is covered by the five material elements (bhumir apo 'nalo vayuh kham (BG 7.4)). As stated in the sastra, these elements are in layers, each ten times thicker than the previous one
- The Vrndavana-dhama on this earth is a replica of that same abode. As stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 8.20), in the spiritual sky there is another, eternal nature, transcendental to manifested and unmanifested matter
- The word dhvasta-tamasah is very important, for without being free of ignorance one cannot control the creation of different types of living entities. As stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam - bodies are awarded under the supervision of superior powers
- The word guru refers to the spiritual master who initiates his disciple into advancement in the science of Krsna, or Krsna consciousness, as stated by Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura - sri-bhagavan-mantropadesake gurav ity arthah

- There are two kinds of sannyasis, who are called dhiras and narottamas, as stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam - SB 1.13.26-27
- There is no one who can deny His (Krsna's) order. Everyone is acting according to His direction, being under His superintendence. As stated in the Brahma-samhita, He is the cause of all causes. BG 1972 purports
- This (SB 10.10.27) is the pastime of Krsna known as damodara-lila. Therefore another of Krsna's names is Damodara. As stated in the Hari-vamsa: sa ca tenaiva namna tu, krsno vai dama-bandhanat, gosthe damodara iti, gopibhih parigiyate
- To a pure devotee, Krsna is always visible, as stated in the Brahma samhita (santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti) and as indicated by Krsna Himself in Bhagavad-gita - 13.14 sarvatah pani-padam tat sarvato 'ksi-siro-mukham
- To date, in the Udupi monastery there are another fourteen Madhva-tirtha sannyasis. As stated, Udupi is situated beside the sea in South Kanara, about thirty-six miles north of Mangalore

- Unless a person is pure, he can neither understand what the PG is nor engage in His service in love, for devotional service, as stated before, begins from the point of self-realization, when all misgivings of materialistic life are vanquished
- Uparasa, anurasa and aparasa are, respectively, first-, second- and third-class rasabhasas. As stated in the Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu - 4.9.1-2
