Room Conversation Gaurasundara, Dr. Kapoor -- July 26, 1977, Vrndavana:

Gaurasundara: In Hawaii we have Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa Deities and bathing, Deity worship and reading your books.

Prabhupāda: Very good.

Gaurasundara: Feast program.

Prabhupāda: May Kṛṣṇa help you. How many inmates are there?

Gaurasundara: Right now there's about one dozen people in the farm, and on Sundays maybe forty, fifty people coming for feast.

Prabhupāda: Very good. You are my old disciple. So I'll be very pleased if you keep the principles—it doesn't matter wherever you live—and spread Kṛṣṇa conscious wherever you feel happy, and do not forget the real business. She is helping you?

Gaurasundara: Yes, very much. She's doing all the pūjārī work and taking care of the Deities.

Prabhupāda: Very good.

Gaurasundara: Pūjārī. Making clothes.

Prabhupāda: How big the Deities are?

Gaurasundara: Right now we have small brass Deities. But this time I'd like to get marble, marble Deities to bring back.

Prabhupāda: From Jaipur? You are going to Jaipur? No.

Gaurasundara: Yes. I think if I can take a few days I'll go and order Deities.

Prabhupāda: How big?

Gaurasundara: I would like to be able to carry them back on the airplane. I don't know how big I can carry them, but I'll see.

Prabhupāda: I think there is no need of changing Deity.

Gaurasundara: Leave small?

Prabhupāda: Huh? You have got?

Gaurasundara: Small.

Prabhupāda: Small.

Gaurasundara: Yes.

Prabhupāda: Because you are maintaining the temple as private. So make nice clothes, decorations.

You are my old disciple and I know how much enthusiastically you were working in the beginning at the old L.A. temple.

Letter to Aniruddha -- London 14 August, 1971:

Please be engaged in the service of Lord Krishna very enthusiastically. You are my old disciple and I know how much enthusiastically you were working in the beginning at the old L.A. temple. Now you can revive the same old energy and develop San Diego center. Krishna is giving you a nice place to serve so utilize it properly.

1972 Correspondence

When you went to Europe last time, I was hopeful that you would organize in Sweden. You have got the capacity to do that, you are one of my old disciples and you have proven your abilities to organize things very nicely.

Letter to Krsna dasa -- Dallas 9 September, 1972:

I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter from Fresno dated September 6, 1972, and I have noted the contents carefully. You may know it that I am eternally your guide, but if you don't accept me as your guide what can I do? Unfortunately, if my disciples do not take my guidance, what can I do? By bad association it so happens, so I remain silent. I see the pricks of maya. When you went to Europe last time, I was hopeful that you would organize in Sweden. You have got the capacity to do that, you are one of my old disciples and you have proven your abilities to organize things very nicely. You went to Germany and organized very nicely. I know you have got that capacity. Why you have come back? You could have organized Sweden very gorgeously. You are very intelligent and also your wife is intelligent. Formally you were alone, now you are assisted by your good wife. Husband and wife equal double strength. You can do nicely anywhere. You know very well how Gurudasa, Mukunda, and Syamasundara organized the London center with great labor and hardship and now it is one of the first class temples. Syamasundara induced George Harrison to cooperate with us and he paid us nineteen-thousand dollars for Krsna Book. So there are so many works, if someone wants to work there are so many things. So eternally I want to remain your guide provided you want to accept me.
