- Krsna-varnam tvisakrsnam (SB 11.5.32) indicates that prominence should be given to the name of Krsna. Lord Caitanya taught Krsna consciousness and chanted the name of Krsna
- Kunti, however, is aware of birth and death, and she is anxious not to repeat this process. This is indicated by the words apunar bhava-darsanam (SB 1.8.25). If one always sees Krsna, one is in KC, for Krsna consciousness means always thinking of Krsna

- Nine sons (of Lord Rsabhadeva) became good preachers of Srimad-Bhagavatam (maha-bhagavatas), and this indicates that they were above the position of brahmanas

- Obeisances unto the Personality of Godhead, Vasudeva, directly indicate Lord Sri Krsna, who is the divine son of Vasudeva and Devaki. This fact will be more explicitly explained in the text of this work
- One who engages in the spiritual activities of unalloyed DS is immediately elevated to the transcendental platform, & is to be considered brahma-bhuta (SB 4.30.20), which indicates that he is no longer in the material world but is in the spiritual world

- SB (6.2.14) indicates that the chanting of the HK maha-mantra, even in joking, in the course of ordinary discussion, in indicating something extraneous, or in negligence, is called namabhasa, which is chanting that is almost on the transcendental stage
- Simply by expert cooking, hundreds and thousands of palatable dishes can be prepared from agricultural produce and milk products. This is indicated here (in sb 10.7.13-15) by the words annam maha-gunam
- Since Lord Siva is the atma (siva also means atma), it is indicated here (in SB 4.4.2) that Sati was prepared to commit suicide
- Since Sati was the daughter of Daksa, however cruel and contaminated he might be, naturally it was expected that he would receive her very nicely. But here (in SB 4.3.18) it is indicated by the word anavasthita that such a person cannot be trusted
- Siva wants to see that form (God's form) perfectly, just as the devotees want to see it. The words rupam priyatamam svanam are specifically mentioned (in SB 4.24.44), indicating that Lord Siva wants to see that form which is very dear to the devotees
- Sometimes people cannot understand why Radhika's name is not mentioned in Srimad-Bhagavatam. Actually, however, Radhika can be understood from the word aradhana, which indicates that She enjoys the highest loving affairs with Krsna
- Srila Jiva Gosvami Prabhupada has commented on the kathamrtam mentioned in this verse and has indicated Srimad-Bhagavatam to be the nectarean message of the Personality of Godhead
- Srila Sridhara Svami has commented that the word snigdhasya (from SB 1.1.8) means prema-vatah. The word prema-vatah indicates that one has great love for his spiritual master
- Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura has commented that the very word navartate indicates that this planet (Dhruvaloka) is eternal
- Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 10.81.16) clearly indicates that although Krsna is so great that it is not possible for anyone to satisfy Him, He exhibits His greatness by being personally satisfied even with one who is unqualified from so many angles of vision
- Srimad-Bhagavatam gives a list of all incarnations of God, and at last concludes that the name Krsna, which appears on this list, indicates the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whereas all other names represent manifestations or incarnations
- Srimad-Bhagavatam gives evidence of where these planets (hellish and heavenly planetary systems) are and indicates how far they are from this planet, just as astronomers have calculated how far the moon and other heavenly bodies are from earth

- The Bhagavatam (1.1.1) says, janmady asya yato 'nvayad itaratas carthesv abhijnah. The word abhijnah indicates that the source of everything is completely conscious
- The brahmanas, the intelligent men or great sages, would control the monarchical powers. Here (SB 4.17.9) we have an indication of how the brahmanas elected King Prthu to the throne as the protector of the citizens
- The city of Hastinapura stands today on the bank of the Yamuna, & the statement of Srimad-Bhagavatam that Yudhisthira went to bathe in the Ganges indicates, therefore, that during the time of the Pandavas the river Yamuna was also known as the Ganges
- The description of this (SB 4.12.37) verse fully indicates that only devotees are eligible to enter into the kingdom of Godhead
- The expression of this knowledge (of SB 10.3.14) by Vasudeva indicates that Vasudeva knew how these events (Krsna entered the womb of Devaki and to have now appeared as Vasudeva's child) took place
- The fifty-fifth verse (of SB, 9th Canto) says, svayam eva harih kila, indicating that Krsna, the eighth son of Devaki, is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Krsna is not an incarnation

- The words bhartur vrata-dharma-nisthaya indicate that a woman's duty, or religious principle, is to serve her husband in all conditions
- The words ekanta-bhutani, which are used here (SB 6.18.30), indicate that to avoid sexual desires one should avoid the company of women as far as possible
- The words kascid aja-svami expressly indicate herein (SB 9.19.10) that Sukracarya was no better than Yayati, for both of them were interested in family affairs generated by sukra, or semen
- The words navam vayah are also significant in this verse (SB 4.27.5). They indicate the period of youth from age sixteen to thirty
- The words srotranjalir upasprsya (in SB 9.24.62) indicate that simply by hearing the transcendental activities of the Lord the devotees become so pure that they are immediately immune to the contamination of materialistic fruitive activities
- There are fourteen Manus in one day of Brahma, 420 in one month, all the Manus are directors of human society, ultimately Krsna is the supreme director of human society. In another sense, the word manave indicates the perfection of all kinds of mantras
- There are many important words in this verse (SB 4.26.8). The first is anyatha, "otherwise," which indicates one who does not care for the Vedic rules and regulations. The rules and regulations laid down in the Vedas are called sastra-vidhi
- There is a clear indication herein (SB 3.14.38) that a brahmana's son is not always a brahmana
- There is reference to Srimad-Bhagavatam in other Puranas which even indicate that the work consists of Twelve Cantos and eighteen thousand slokas

- This verse (CC Adi 1.91) appears in Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 1.1.2). The words maha-muni-krte indicate that Srimad-Bhagavatam was compiled by the great sage Vyasadeva, who is sometimes known as Narayana Maha-muni because he is an incarnation of Narayana
- This verse (of SB 10.1.4) indicates that such recitation of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam must be done by persons completely freed from material desires - nivrtta-tarsaih
- This verse (SB 2.7.47) was spoken by Lord Brahma when he was questioned by the great sage Narada. Narada was surprised to see the creator of the universe meditating, for this indicated there might be someone greater than Lord Brahma

- When the husband is pleased with his wife, the wife can receive all necessities, ornaments and full satisfaction for her senses. Herein (SB 6.18.27-28) this is indicated by the behavior of Diti
- Why one is induced to perform certain acts despite his desire to do something else is indicated herein (SB 5.1.11). One cannot disobey the orders of the Supreme Lord, even if one is as powerful as Lord Siva, Lord Brahma, Manu or the great sage Narada
- Without a personal form there can be no question of a smiling face, which is clearly indicated here (in SB 8.5.45) by the words sasmitam te mukhambujam
