- My dear Lord, all the demigods, including myself (Siva) and Lord Brahma, as well as great saintly persons and sages who have cleansed their hearts of material attachment, have, by Your grace, wholeheartedly taken shelter of Your lotus feet

- The auspicious position of Lord Siva is realized if one takes to the worship of Visnu, because Lord Siva says in the Siva Purana that the topmost worship is worship of Lord Visnu. Lord Siva is worshiped because he is the greatest devotee of Lord Visnu
- There are twelve authorities. Lord Siva is one of the authorities. Svayambhur naradah sambhuh. (SB 6.3.20). Sambhu is authority. He says - Krsna worship, Visnu worship is good, but still better worship is to worship the krsna-bhaktas
