- I know that you (Vaikunthanatha) are so intelligent boy, along with your good wife Saradia, so you may do as you like, but it would please me very much if you will dedicate yourself and your wife completely to the preaching work. That is important
- If the children become disobedient, the father is not satisfied. He may do as duty, to give them some food, but he is not satisfied. The same relationship with our relationship with God
- If the spiritual master's orders allow a grhastha to engage in sex life at a particular time, then the grhastha may do so; otherwise, if the spiritual master orders against it, the grhastha should abstain
- If you agree to this, then I can send some of my American disciples to join you. Your children and these American boys under your guidance may do very good service to the cause of Srila Prabhupad in spreading this Samkirtan movement
- In Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.27), the Lord demands that whatever one may do in one's daily activities, such as worship, sacrifice, and offering charity, all the results should be offered to Him only
- It is not "I may do it or not do it." These austerities must be done. For example, in the Mundaka Upanisad it is ordered that if one wants to become self-realized, one must approach a spiritual master: tad-vijnanartham sa gurum evabhigacchet - MU 1.2.12

- The Vedic activities are so designed that the conditioned soul who has come to enjoy the material world may do so under direction so that at the end he becomes detached from such material enjoyment and is eligible to enter into the transcendental position
- They (devotees) are going for Krsna, that is happiness. They forget the trouble. Don't be doubtful about this at least. You might do or not do, but at least you be convinced that this is the nicest thing we have got. Yes. And there is no comparison
- This is very instructive verse (SB 7.9.19). The whole world is planning to give relief to the suffering humanity, but foolish people, do not know you may do your best, but if it is not sanctioned by Supreme Lord, all these measures will not be of any use

- You may do your business. Just like Arjuna: Arjuna was doing his business. He was a fighter, ksatriya, but he did not forget his culture, hearing Gita from the master. That is culture
- You may live very honestly - you may do your duty very honestly - in spite of all these things, because you are not taking to Krsna consciousness, you are simply being defeated
- You should remain always sannyasi within. Outwardly, for others' convenience, you may do something. Similarly, we are accepting this varnasrama. We are not varnasrama; we are above varnasrama
