- The Lord displayed His pastimes in Vrndavana in order to reveal His actual life
- The Lord enjoyed His pastimes, both in this world and in other worlds (higher planets), specifically in the association of the Yadu dynasty. At leisure hours offered by night, He enjoyed the friendship of conjugal love with women

- The Lord exchanges transcendental relations in five ways, as proprietor, master, friend, son and lover, and in each of these pastimes He plays fully by the potency of yogamaya, the internal potency

- The Lord Krsna appears and disappears in the material world in different features for His pastimes, yet He is the origin of all cosmic manifestations

- The Lord's pastimes in the original abode of Goloka Vrndavana are exchanged in that spirit. The friends of Krsna consider Him one of them. They do not consider Him to be of reverential importance. The parents of the Lord consider Him a child only
- The Lord's pastimes with the gopis are all displays of transcendental existence, bliss and knowledge, although these are manifested apparently as sex love. The specific attraction of His pastimes with the gopis should never be misunderstood

- Therefore Lord Sri Krsna presents His most confidential pastimes as He enjoys them in His transcendental realm. Such pastimes are so attractive that they attract even the Lord, and thus He relishes them in the form of Lord Caitanya
- These (Krsna dancing with gopis in the gardens of Vrndavana) are some of the features which are due to the different pastimes invented by Sri Krsna in the place known as Vrndavana
- These are all glorified pastimes of the Lord, and there is no contradiction in such manifestations. Since Krsna is the Supreme Lord, He was never afraid of Kamsa, but to please His father (Vasudeva) He agreed to be so
- These are: (1) Krsna is like an ocean filled with waves of pastimes that evoke wonder within everyone in the three worlds. (2) In His activities of conjugal love, He is always surrounded by His dear devotees who possess unequaled love for Him
- These four prabhava pastime forms of Lord Krsna reside eternally in Dvaraka and Mathura
- These incidents (Krsna's pastimse in the humor of parental love) are enjoyable only by the residents of Vraja like Nanda Maharaja, and not by the impersonalist worshipers of Brahman or Paramatma
- These mundane, blunt senses - they cannot receive or understand what is Krsna, what is Krsna's name, what is Krsna's form, what is Krsna's pastimes, what is Krsna's paraphernalia - so many things Krsna's . . . what is Krsna's word
- These pastimes were wonderful for everyone, even for those proud of their own opulence, including the Lord Himself in His form as the Lord of Vaikuntha. Thus His (Sri Krsna's) transcendental body is the ornament of all ornaments
- They (Krsna's activities, His appearance) are all pastimes, and for Him (Krsna) they, are all play. But for us they are actual, tangible facts
- They (Krsna's sons) never discussed Krsna's pastimes in conjugal love
- They (Mayavadi philosophers) cannot understand the Absolute Truth and its spiritual varieties - name, form, qualities and pastimes. Consequently they conclude that Krsna's transcendental activities are maya
- They (pure devotees) are also aware that the fully independent Supreme Lord, who is eternally engaged in transcendental activities, chooses a particular land in which to unfold His earthly pastimes
- They (the gopis) were simply thinking of the pastimes of Krsna in great love and affection. Being absorbed in thought of Him, they experienced loss of memory, and with dampened eyes they began to see the very pastimes of Krsna
- They (the impersonalists) sometimes try to imitate a pure devotee's sentiment for visiting the holy places where Krsna had His pastimes, but they simply have a view for salvation, and so their activities cannot be considered attachment
- They (the puzzled people who visited Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu) all said that they had seen Krsna directly performing His pastimes on the hoods of the serpent Kaliya and that the jewels on Kaliya's hoods were blazing brilliantly
- They carry only waterpots, and they wear torn quilts. They always chant the holy names of Krsna and discuss His pastimes. In great jubilation, they also dance
- Thinking of Krsna, hearing the holy name of Krsna or hearing the pastimes of Krsna will make one pure, and then he will become a devotee
- This (after leaving the material body, the perfect devotee takes birth from the womb of a gopi on a planet where Krsna's pastimes are going on) may be in this universe or another universe
- This (CC Madhya 18.34) is a quotation from Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 10.21.18). It was spoken by the gopis when Lord Krsna and Balarama entered the forest in the autumn. The gopis spoke among themselves and glorified Krsna and Balarama for Their pastimes
- This (SB 10.10.27) is the pastime of Krsna known as damodara-lila. Therefore another of Krsna's names is Damodara. As stated in the Hari-vamsa: sa ca tenaiva namna tu, krsno vai dama-bandhanat, gosthe damodara iti, gopibhih parigiyate
- This action (take to the lotus feet of Lord Krsna and fully engage himself in devotional service, hearing, chanting, etc., of the holy name and pastimes of the Lord, which are all hari-kathamrta) is especially recommended when one is preparing for death
- This blunt material eyes, he cannot see Krsna, or cannot hear Krsna's name, namadi. Nama means name. Nama means name, form, quality, pastime. These things cannot be understood by your material blunt eyes or senses
- This hesitation is also a part of the pastimes of Lord Krsna because the horses of Krsna are not ordinary; it is not possible for ordinary horses to go all over the universe and then enter into its outer covering layers
- This is a quotation (of CC Antya 14.86) from Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 10.21.18). It was spoken by the gopis when Lord Krsna and Balarama entered the forest in the autumn. The gopis spoke among themselves and glorified Krsna and Balarama for Their pastimes
- This krsna-katha will also be very much appealing to the most materialistic persons because Krsna's pastimes with the gopis (cowherd girls) are exactly like the loving affairs between young girls and boys within this material world
- This pastime (mother Yasoda binds Lord Krsna) of Krsna's is very difficult to understand, but devotees can understand it. It is therefore said, darsayams tad-vidam loka atmano bhakta-vasyatam - SB 10.11.9
- This pastime (tears rolled down His cheeks, washing off the black ointment smeared about His beautiful eyes) presents another opulence of Krsna - His opulence of beauty
- This pastime is called brahma-vimohana, the bewilderment of Brahma. Brahma was already bewildered by Krsna's activities as an innocent child, and now he would be further bewildered
- This process entails hearing, chanting and remembering the holy name, form, pastimes, qualities and entourage of the Lord, offering service according to the time, place and performer, worshiping the Deity, offering prayers
- This sportive playing went on amongst the boys as childhood pastimes
- This statement (after leaving the material body, the perfect devotee takes birth from the womb of a gopi on a planet where Krsna's pastimes are going on) is found in the Ujjvala-nilamani, which is commented upon by Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura
- This verse (CC Adi 9.46), quoted from Srimad-Bhagavatam, was spoken by Lord Krsna to His friends when He was taking rest underneath a tree after His pastime of stealing the clothes of the gopis - vastra-harana-lila
- This Vrndavana is replica of that Vrndavana. When Krsna comes on this planet, he comes here in this Vrndavana land. Therefore, it is transcendental, because it is Krsna's pastime, pastimeous place. Therefore it is transcendental
- Those in the most exalted position of devotional service and ecstasy can live with Krsna always by remembering His pastimes
- Those who are highly elevated in Krsna consciousness can enter into the pastimes of Radha-Krsna through the mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Those who are in the disciplic succession of the Madhva-Gaudiya-sampradaya should always feel separation from Krsna, worship His transcendental form and discuss His transcendental teachings, His pastimes, His qualities and His entourage
- Those who have no understanding of the transcendental nature of Krsna’s pastimes always commit great offenses, thinking Krsna to be an ordinary human being and the gopis ordinary girls
- Through association of devotees, one is placed in devotional service, and by this service Krsna's activities, form, pastimes, name, etc., become clear, and all misgivings are dispelled. BG 1972 purports
- Thus all the Vaisnavas from Bengal went to Jagannatha Puri. By chance, they arrived on the day when Lord Jagannatha performs pastimes in the water
- Thus all the verses about the rasa-lila dance were recited. Then finally the verse concerning the pastimes in the water was recited
- Thus He became a very expert artist for all the gopis. During such pastimes, the Lord enjoyed the fulfillment of His youth
- Thus Krsna moves with His pastimes through all the universes, one after another
- Thus Radha and Lord Krsna are one, yet They have taken two forms to enjoy the mellows of pastimes
- Thus the Lord's pastimes are like the flowing Ganges water. In this way all the pastimes are manifested by the son of Nanda Maharaja
