- A devotee sees everyone and everything in relationship with Narayana (narayanam ayam). Everything is an expansion of Narayana's energy
- According to the Vedic injunctions, aitadatmyam idam sarvam, sarvam khalv idam brahma: everything is the Supreme Brahman. Therefore, both the body and the soul are Brahman, since matter and spirit emanate from Brahman
- According to their (the atheists) own theory, everything is God. Then why is the Deity not God? Actually, they have no conception of God
- Actually, nothing is different from Krsna because everything is Krsna's energy. The Mayavadi philosophers say that since everything is God, the personality of Krsna is finished
- Although they (the atheists) preach that everything is God, when they go to the temple and see the form of the Lord, they deny that He is God
- As Lord Visnu is worshipable, so also are His associates, His paraphernalia, His airplane and His abode, for everything of Visnu's is as good as Lord Visnu
B
- Because the Lord is the supreme cause, everything is one with Him, but when we consider varieties, we find that one thing is different from another
- By spiritual energy, the Lord can appear in a body made of wood or stone. He can change His body into anything because everything is His energy (parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate) - CC Madhya 13.65, purport
E
- Everything is Brahman because everything can be used for the service of the Supreme Lord. Nothing is mithya, false; everything is factual
- Everything is controlled by the supreme kala, a forceful representative of the Lord within the material world. Thus Yudhisthira should not be sorry for the inconceivable action of time
- Everything is God. That is a fact. And still, everything is not God. That is also fact. So we have to understand this philosophy
- Everything is resting on the Lord, for everything is His energy, yet He is not everywhere
- Everything is the Supreme Brahman, the Personality of Godhead, yet the Supreme Person is differently situated from everything
I
- I am so much fallen, how I can associate with Krsna? So that is isa-sangat. Isa is absolute. Everything has emanated from Isa, God. So in that way everything is Isa. There is nothing but Isa, but we haven't got the eyes to see
- If you think, "I am God," yes, you are also God. Because there is nothing beyond God. Ahangrahopasanam. If you think everything is God, that is also true. Because in the higher conception, there is nothing beyond God
- In everything, the devotee sees the Lord, and he sees everything in the Lord. The specific disturbance created by a duratma, or crooked soul, is due to his maintaining that the transcendental form of the Lord is something material
- In this verse (in SB 3.21.19) two important words nullify the impersonalist theory that everything is God. Here Kardama says: O Personality of Godhead, You are alone, but You have various energies
- It is stated also in the Visnu Purana that whatever we see is parasya brahmanah saktih; everything is an expansion of the energy of the Supreme Absolute Truth, Brahman
O
- Once this misconception (that everything is the Supreme Spirit) is cleared up and if we remember that the Supreme Spirit is indeed omnipresent, we can create a spiritual atmosphere by performing all our activities in relation to the Supreme Spirit
- One cannot say that because the planets are resting on the sunshine, these planets are also the sun. Similarly, the impersonal or pantheistic view that everything is God is not a very intelligent proposal
- One should realize that since the Supreme Lord spreads throughout one's body and since the individual soul is a part of the Supreme Lord, everything is Brahman - sarvam khalv idam brahma
T
- The Absolute Truth, God, is everything, but this does not mean that everything is God
- The all-pervading feature of God means everything is manifestation of His energy. Nothing can exist without God. But it does not mean everything is God. Everything is resting on His energy, but not everything God
- The beginning of love is awe and adoration: "Oh, God is so great. God is everything." When he understands God's potency, unlimitedness, the soul adores Him
- The energies are existing, and the Supreme Personality of Godhead also exists simultaneously; because everything is His energy, He is simultaneously one with everything and different from everything
- The fact is that everything is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, manifested in varieties of energy. Ekam evadvitiyam brahma. There is no second existence
- The impersonalists argue that there is no use in worshiping the Lord when everything is nothing but the Lord Himself
- The Lord says - I am everything - because everything is His energy and is therefore nondifferent from Him
- The Mayavada philosophy is that everything is God; therefore there is no separate existence of God. That is impersonalism
- The pantheists say that because everything is God, whatever we do is God worship. This is Mayavada philosophy - that because everything is made of God, therefore everything is God. But our philosophy is that everything is God but also not God
- The real position, as explained by the Lord Himself, is that although nothing can exist without Him, it is not a fact that everything is Him. He is different from everything
- The Supreme Soul exists everywhere. The Vedas enjoin, sarvam khalv idam brahma: everything is Brahman or an expansion of Brahman's energies
- The Supreme Spirit is omnipresent. This truth is imperfectly explained by the proponents of pantheism, the misconception that everything is the Supreme Spirit simply because the Supreme Spirit is everywhere
- This is the philosophy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, which is called acintya-bhedabheda-tattva. Everything is one, the Supreme Lord, yet everything is separate from the Lord. This is the understanding of oneness and difference
W
- We even offer respects to a temple from a distant place, and all living entities should similarly be offered respect. This is different from the theory of pantheism, which holds that everything is God
- When everything is employed in the service of the Lord, we can experience that there is nothing except the Supreme Brahman. The Vedic mantra that "everything is Brahman" is thus realized by us
- Wherever the sunshine is there, there is sun. Similarly, wherever the energy of God is there, there is God. So in that way, everything is God
Y
- Yet one should not conclude that because He is spread all over He has lost His personal existence. To refute such argument the Lord says, "I am everywhere, and everything is in Me, but still I am aloof." BG 1972 purports
- You are the priests who perform the yajna, You are the demigods headed by Indra, and You are the sacrificial animal. Everything that is sacrificed is You or Your energy
