A
- A devotee is equipoised. He sees everyone on the same transcendental platform
- A devotee is generally very humble and meek, and he is reluctant to pick a quarrel with anyone. Nor does he envy anyone. However, a pure devotee immediately becomes fiery with anger when he sees that Lord Visnu or His devotee is insulted

- If a poor man loses some money or gold, he at once becomes very agitated. Similarly, the mind of Maharaja Bharata would become agitated when he did not see the deer. This is an example of how our attachment can be transferred

- The babies (Rama and Krsna) would catch the ends of the calves' tails, and the calves would drag Them here and there. When the ladies saw these pastimes, they certainly stopped their household activities and laughed and enjoyed the incidents - SB 10.8.24
- The best devotee sees, "Nobody is envious of God. Everyone is better than me." Just like Caitanya-caritamrta's author, Krsnadasa Kaviraja. He says, - I am lower than the worm in the stool
- The Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38) states: "I worship the primeval Lord, Govinda, who is always seen by the devotee whose eyes are anointed with the pulp of love. He is seen in His eternal form of Syamasundara situated within the heart of the devotee"
- The conclusion is that everyone sees God at every moment, but the atheist class, they do not accept that he is seeing God. He denies or telling lies that he is not seeing God. But a devotee of God, he sees God at every moment within his heart
- The Deities of Radha & Krsna, Laksmi & Narayana, Rama & Sita are very attractive to devotees, so much so that when they see the statue decorated in the temple of the Lord they become fully absorbed in thought of the Lord. That is the state of liberation
- The devotee does not see anything separate between his own interests and those of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Both interests become one, for the devotee does not act for a separate interest
- The devotee does not want to see the Supreme Personality of Absolute Truth in voidness or impersonalism

- The devotee thus surpasses the subtle objects of different senses like aroma by smelling, the palate by tasting, vision by seeing forms, touch by contacting, the vibrations of the ear by ethereal identification, and the sense organs by material activities
- The devotee who is highly elevated sees the relationship to Krsna in everything; he does not see anything as being independent of Krsna. That is his vision of oneness
- The devotee's prayer continues, "I do not ask You for liberation or any material facility up to the point of liberation. What I want as Your favor is that I may always think of Your form as I see You now as Damodara"
- The devotees are always anxious to see God, so God comes down to give relief to the devotee, being present before them
- The devotees are interested only in seeing that the people in general are not misguided by political propaganda and in seeing that the valuable life of a human being is not spoiled in following a type of civilization which is ultimately doomed

- The devotees especially see the Lord in the beautiful blackish form of Śyāmasundara. That is the perfection of yoga. This yoga system should be continued until the mind does not vacillate for a moment
- The devotees of the Lord can see everything clearly that is in the revealed scriptures. The devotees of Lord Sri Krsna can very easily understand the science of Krsna, as well as the situation of the material and spiritual creations, without difficulty
- The difference between a devotee & a nondevotee is this, just like the bee & the fly: the bee always is attracted by the honey & flies go to the open sores. So the devotee is only attracted by the good qualities in other people & does not see their faults
- The form of the Lord is described herein (SB 4.8.45). The Lord's face is perpetually very beautiful and pleasing in attitude. To the devotees who see Him, He appears never to be displeased, and He is always prepared to award benedictions to them
- The gopis saw the plants, creepers and forest trees loaded with fruits and flowers and ready to serve Krsna. In this way they immediately remembered their worshipable Krsna. They did not simply see plants, creepers and trees the way a mundaner sees them
- The gopis were not made happy even by seeing the four-armed form of Narayana. Yet they offered their respects to the SP of Godhead and begged from Him the benediction of achieving the association of Krsna. Such is the ecstatic feeling of the gopis
- The King of the elephants (Gajendra) was so very eager to see the Supreme Personality of Godhead that when he saw the Lord coming in the sky, with great pain and in a feeble voice he offered respect to the Lord
- The king or head of state must see that things go on well under proper guidance, and he must be an ideal devotee, as exemplified by Maharaja Ambarisa
- The Lord is open to being seen by devotees, but nondevotees cannot see Him. The qualification for seeing God is stated in Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38): premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
- The Lord promised to show Arjuna things he would by very interested in seeing. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord then called for Svarupa Damodara and told him, "Just see the behavior of your Bengali Vaisnava"
- The maha-bhagavata, the advanced devotee, certainly sees everything mobile and immobile, but he does not exactly see their forms. Rather, everywhere he immediately sees manifest the form of the Supreme Lord
- The maha-bhagavata, the advanced devotee, sees everything as potentially serving the Lord
- The maha-bhagavata, the great devotee, sees oneness in the sense that he sees everything as the energy of the Supreme Lord. Since there is no difference between the energy and the energetic, there is the sense of oneness
- The maha-bhagavata, the topmost devotee, sees everyone as being engaged in the service of Krsna; only himself does he see as not engaged
- The mahatmas see this distinction (between spiritual energy and material energy) and so take shelter under the spiritual energy - daivim prakrtim
- The Mayavadi philosophers think that although all these forms are assumed by the Lord just as the devotees desire to see Him, actually He is impersonal. From Brahma-samhita, however, we can understand that this is not so, for the Lord has multiforms
- The most advanced devotee sees within everything the soul of all souls, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna
- The perfect devotee does not see the material world as it appears to material eyes, for he sees everywhere the presence of his worshipable Lord in His Paramatma feature
- The perfect devotee may see many movable and immovable objects, but in everything he sees that the energy of Krsna is acting. As soon as he remembers the energy of Krsna, he immediately remembers Krsna in His personal form
- The perfect vision of the yogi or devotee is that he sees the presence of the living entity everywhere
- The pure devotee is equipoised in his vision and sees himself to be uncontaminated by matter because of his transcendental intelligence
- The pure devotee will soon see the personal manifestation of Lord Sri Krsna
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is covered by His yoga-maya. Only surrendered souls and devotees can see Him. BG 1972 purports
- The test of a perfect devotee is that he sees Govinda everywhere in this universe, even in every atomic particle (anda-ntara-stha-paramanu-cayantara-stham). This is the perfect vision of a devotee
- The third-class devotee - who is not advanced in knowledge of the Absolute Truth but simply offers obeisances with great devotion, thinks of the Lord, sees the Lord in the temple & brings forth flowers and fruits to offer to the Deity - becomes liberated
- The universal form of Krsna is not very important; that will be clear in the verses (of BG 11). Yet because Arjuna wanted to see it, the Lord gives him the particular vision required to see that universal form. BG 1972 purports
- The Vaisnava devotee may offer formal respects to such a materially puffed-up person, but he may not deliver transcendental knowledge to him. Indeed, the devotee sees him as a non-brahmana or sudra
- The vision of maha-bhagavata, not ordinary man. Maha-bhagavata . . . sthavara-jangama dekhi tara murti (CC Madhya 8.274). A maha-bhagavata sees a tree or an animal or a . . . he does not see the form, but he sees his ista deva murti: he sees there Krsna
- The word darsaniyatamam, which is used in this verse (SB 3.28.16), means that the Lord is so beautiful that the devotee-yogi does not wish to see anything else. His desire to see beautiful objects is completely satisfied by the sight of the Lord
- There are eight kinds of (God's) forms recommended for the devotees to see. The forms may be made out of sand, clay, wood or stone, they may be contemplated within the mind or made of jewels, metal or painted colors, but all forms are of the same value
- There cannot be any comparison to Vasudeva Datta. As the perfect Vaisnava, he was para-duhkha-duhkhi, very much aggrieved to see others suffer. The entire world is purified simply by the appearance of such a great devotee
- These are two kinds of vision. The conditioned soul sees the flower for his own enjoyment, and the devotee sees the flower as an object to be used in the service of the Lord
- They did not see it before, but because of Arjuna they were also able to see it. In other words, all the disciplic devotees of the Lord could see the universal form which was shown to Arjuna by the mercy of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- This is competition. Krsna wants to see that His devotees are pleased, and the devotees want to see that Krsna is pleased
- This is the first duty of the spiritual master, to engage the devotees in arcana-marga. Sri-vigraharadhana-nitya. Cleansing the temple, dressing the Deity, decorating with flowers, so that devotees, as soon as see smiling Krsna, they become pleased
- This is the vision of a devotee whose devotional service is in highest stage of bhava, or love of Godhead (He doesn't see difference between God's form and the statue in the temple) whereas a neophyte's worship in the temple is a matter of routine duty
- Those interested in worshiping the Lord in solitary places may be eligible for liberation themselves, but a pure devotee is always aggrieved to see others suffering. Not caring for his own liberation, he always engages in preaching by glorifying the Lord
- Those who are greedy see everything as a source of money-making and those who are lusty see everything as being conducive to sex, the most perfect devotee, Prahlada Maharaja, saw Narayana even within a stone column
- Those who see everything in the Lord or everything of the Lord and also see in everything an eternal relation of the Lord, so that there is nothing within their purview of sight except the Lord, are called the maha-bhagavatas
- Today this decoration is so nice. Of course, such kind of decoration is made in India. But if some devotee comes from India he'll see, "Oh, it is very nice. How they have done?" How? It is possible, because Krsna is everywhere

- Upon seeing the dead body of the demon, all the cowherd boys exclaimed, "Well done, Krsna! Very good, very good! Thank You." In the upper planetary system, all the demigods were pleased, and therefore they showered flowers on the SP of God - SB 10.11.44
- Uttama-adhikari sees that the brahmana particle of the Supreme Lord has not misused his little independence given him by the Lord and that the dog particle has misused his independence and is therefore being punished by the laws of nature

- Vaisnava is very kind-hearted, merciful, because he feels for others. He feels for others in this sense that he knows what he is. He sees every living entity as part and parcel of God
- Vaisnava who is preaching, it may be in a different way, according to time and place and the party - they have to change something, desa-kala-patra - but we have to see the essence
- Vidura belonged to the royal family of the Kauravas, and although he knew that all the family members were destroyed at the Battle of Kuruksetra, he nonetheless wanted to see his elder brother, Dhrtarastra, to see if he could deliver him from maya

- When a advanced devotee, sees something, he does not see the formation of that thing; he sees the energy. Highly advanced devotee will not see the stone. He immediately will think of Krsna, - Oh, Krsna is so powerful that His energy is exhibited in stone
- When a devotee becomes mature in his prosecution of devotional service, he sees face to face the same Syamasundara he has thought of during the entire course of his devotional service
- When a Vaisnava sees mismanagement in the government, he feels great compassion in his heart and tries his best to purify the situation by spreading the Hare Krsna movement
- When Balarama and the other boys saw that Krsna had been devoured by the gigantic duck (Bakasura), they became almost unconscious, like senses without life - SB 10.11.49
- When Devaki saw her brother actually repentant while explaining ordained events, she was relieved of all anger. Similarly, Vasudeva was also free from anger. Smiling, he spoke to Kamsa as follows - SB 10.4.25
- When Dhruva Maharaja factually saw the SPG, there was no question of a revengeful attitude towards his stepmother nor any aspiration to lord it over the material world, but the Supreme Personality is so kind that He knew that Dhruva Maharaja wanted these
- When he (a pure devotee) sees the forms of Sri Krsna, he does not see anything different from the Lord. If one sees otherwise, he must be considered untrained in absolute knowledge
- When he (Pariksit Maharaja) saw that one black man was trying to kill one cow, immediately he took his sword: "Immediately I shall kill you. Who are you, killing cows in my kingdom?" This is ksatriya's business
- When he was offered a benediction by Lord Nrsimhadeva, Prahlada Maharaja said: My dear Lord, I only lament to see others bereft of Your love. I am simply lamenting for them and devising various plans to deliver them from the clutches of maya - SB 7.9.43
- When Krsna opened His mouth wide by the order of mother Yasoda, she saw within His mouth all moving and nonmoving entities, outer space, and all directions, along with mountains, islands - SB 10.8.37-39
- When Krsna opened His mouth wide by the order of mother Yasoda, she saw within His mouth oceans, the surface of the earth, the blowing wind, fire, the moon and the stars - SB 10.8.37-39
- When opulence is very prominent, love of Godhead is somewhat crippled. According to kevala devotion, however, even though the devotee sees the unlimited potency of Krsna, he considers himself equal to Him
- When she (Yasoda) saw that the milk pan on the oven was boiling over, she immediately left her son (Krsna) to take care of the overflowing milk, although the child was not yet fully satisfied with drinking the milk of His mother's breast - SB 10.9.5
- When the gopis saw her (Putana), they thought that the beautiful goddess of fortune, holding a lotus flower in her hand, had come to see her husband, Krsna - SB 10.6.5-6
- When the heart is cleansed of all material contamination, the devotee's mind becomes broader and transparent, and he can see things equally. At that stage of life there is peace, and one is situated equally with Me as sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (BS 5.1)
- When the Supreme Personality disappeared from his (Dhruva Maharaja's) heart, he thought that he had lost Him. Dhruva Maharaja was perturbed, but upon opening his eyes and breaking his meditation he saw the same form of the Lord before him
- When the unalloyed devotees and the leaders of the snakes offer their obeisances to Lord Sankarsana with great devotion, they become very joyful upon seeing their own beautiful faces reflected in His toenails
- When they (the gopis) cannot see the beautiful face of Krsna, they actually see everything as vacant, and they desire to be struck by a thunderbolt
- When Vasudeva reached the house of Nanda Maharaja, he saw that all the cowherd men were fast asleep - SB 10.3.51
- When Vasudeva saw that Kamsa was determined to kill his sister Devaki, he thought to himself very deeply. Considering the imminent danger of death, he thought of another plan to stop Kamsa - SB 10.1.47
- While one is within this material world, one is in various conditions, and therefore a devotee sees a condition of distress as but another feature of the Lord. Tat te'nukampam susamiksamanah - SB 10.14.8
- While sucking the breast, the babies smiled, and Their (Krsna's and Balarama's) small teeth were visible. Their mothers (Yasoda and Rohini), upon seeing those beautiful teeth, enjoyed great transcendental bliss
- Within the house of Nanda Maharaja, the cowherd ladies would enjoy seeing the pastimes of the babies Rama and Krsna - SB 10.8.24

- Yogi means that. Yogi does not mean to play some magic. Magician also can play some magic. A devotee is not interested to show any magic, but he is interested to see the magician, supreme, who is playing so much magic
- You sometimes cover such characteristics by Your own energy, but nevertheless Your unalloyed devotees are always able to see You under all circumstances
