Setting up an account

There are 3 things that need to be done in order to get a person fully up and running: creating the user account, setting it up as an editor account, and setting up the skin for compiling.

Note: Be sure that you are logged in under your own account (not the new person's) before you attempt to assign editorial rights. Only administrators have access to this part.

• Assign user name/password
  • Go to "Special pages" => "Log in / create account"
  • Select "create account"
  • Fill in details (name, password, email address)
• Set up as editor
  • Go to "Special pages" => "User rights management" (in bold font)
  • Type in the user name to access the account
  • Check the boxes for "editor" and "email confirmed"
• Change the skin
  • Go back to "Log in / create account"
  • Open the person's account
  • Go to "preferences" (link at upper right of screen)
  • Select tab "Skin"
  • Check the box for "Compiler"
  • Save, and then do a full refresh (Ctrl F5)
